After a very filling dinner, followed by numerous desserts, Karter's family decided to play a few games—from a very amusing game of charades to Twister, and even Jenga—it was a night full of laughs.

Jaden and Jalen somehow managed to argue over who won each game, Pierce managed to find a way beside me during each game no matter how many times Karter moved him away, and the adults even let us have some wine—excluding Pierce of course.

It was oddly the best Thanksgiving I had ever had—which was including the ones I had spent at Cher's.

Her family was slightly more posh and serious, but they are old money, so I didn't expect anything less.

"You shouldn't be finishing off your wine, if you're taking Sloan home," Nancy said as everyone helped clean up.

Karter only took a long sip of the red liquid, "She's staying the night," she said before quickly looking over to Pierce, "Hear that? She's staying in my bed."

I laughed, "Karter he's literally six years old," I pointed out, which only earned an eye roll from Karter.

Pierce shrugged, sitting on the couch, "Never too old for you, babe."

"Alright," Karter said, motioning him up as I fell into a fit of laughter along with Jaden and Jalen. "Mickey come get your child!" she called out which earned quick footsteps into the large living room.

I clutched my stomach as my laughter grew, watching Pierce walk out with Mickey as he gave me a subtle wink.

"Oh my god, wow, I can't breathe," I said, between laughs as Karter stood there unamused.

Jalen shook his head as he laid on the L-shaped sectional, "You know he learned that from you, Karty?"

Jaden laughed, folding the covers, "He's a literal spawn of you I swear."

Karter only rolled her eyes, "Yeah, well I'm putting down a reverse Uno card—he needs to chill for real."

My uncontrollable laughter only grew as the two twins only laughed along with me.

"It's really not that funny," Karter deadpanned.

Jalen shook his head, "It's funny because you think it isn't funny."

I nodded quickly, trying to catch my breath between laughs, "Right?"

As Jaden's laughter died down, he clapped Karter on the back, "We gotta hang soon for real."

Karter nodded, "Only a few more months until I'm a Harvardian with you guys."

My ears immediately perked up, recognizing the nickname that Harvard students call themselves.

"Wait you guys go to Harvard?" I said, which earned a nod from both the twins. "Do you guys like it?" I asked curiously.

Jalen smiled, "Oh we absolutely love it—the library is so sick and the students are crazy chill."

"Really?" I asked.

Jaden nodded a few times, "Oh yeah, surprisingly enough it's like any other college—excluding the crazy architecture and the reputation you gain from attending."

"Why? You trying to go there too?" Jalen asked.

Upon hearing his question, I glanced over to Karter, who pursed her lips, silently acknowledging the bet. "We're both trying to get in," she determined.

Jaden laughed, "Yeah, okay Karty—Nina is literally head of the board committee. You'll get in."

"I'm sure you'll get in too, Sloan," Jalen said. "You look smart enough to," he said, which earned a laugh from Karter.
