Chapter 66: Their home!

3 person POV

Zayn, Louis and Liam all sat with Hazel in the living room for about twenty minutes, after that twenty minutes though, it was time Hazel to get back to her school work.

Liam is away to the shop to get enough food for the week they will be here, while Liam is doing that Zayn is going to start on the supper and Louis will be helping Hazel with her school work.

"C'mon bug, let's get this done and then we can go and annoy daddy Z." Louis says making the girl giggle.

"Can we phone daddy Haz and daddy Ni?" The girl asks sweetly hoping to get out of doing her literacy work.

"We can phone them after you do your work." Louis tells her, already logging back onto his laptop.

Hazel huffs out an 'okay' and goes and takes her seat again, grabbing her pencil and paper.

"Alright, so can you tell me what the paragraph is about?" Louis asks the 8 year old.

"It's about different animals at the Zoo." Hazel tells the man.

"Okay, so the first question says 'What piece of punctuation is missing in the first sentence?'" Louis reads from the laptop carefully.

"Can I do it tomorrow?" Hazel asks hopefully knowing full well about her test but not knowing that her dads know.

"Sorry bug but not today. Your teacher has told me you have a test on this tomorrow." Louis tells the girl who sulks back into her seat.

After half an hour Louis and Hazel finish answering the five questions.

"Well done bug. We can stop now. Just remember to ask for help when you need it okay?" Louis asks, getting a nod. "Alright, I think we can give daddy Haz and daddy Ni a call now." Louis says, heading to the living room, taking out his phone and FaceTiming both Harry and Niall.

They both answered fairly quickly, only a few rings. "Hey Lou, what's up?" Harry asked being the first on the call.

Louis didn't have time to reply because Niall joined the call. "Hey guys, whatcha doing?" Niall asked.

"Hey guys, someone wanted to call after her school work so we thought we should give you guys a ring." Louis explained then passing his phone to Hazel who has moved to the couch in the living room.

Harry, Niall and Hazel all spoke right up until it was time for supper, so they each said their goodbyes and then hanged up.

The rest of the evening was a breeze, with everyone playing a few bored games and then a movie before bed.

The night went by and then morning came, and it was time for Hazel to take the test.

Liam sat with her and helped her with some of her other work after she did the test. The teacher was gonna mark it and then talk to them about the progress Hazel is making.

Soon enough Hazel finished her school work and was free to do whatever she wanted, so on instinct she went up to her room, grabbed her drawing pad and started to draw.

While Hazel was upstairs, Louis, Liam and Zayn were all downstairs talking to Hazel's teacher.

"So overall she has come along a long way, it's just her spelling and punctuation isn't the best but that will get better with practice and time. You guys should be super proud." The teacher smiled as she wrapped up what she was saying about Hazel.

"We are so proud of her. She is doing so well." Liam commented and smiled.

"Well, I'll let you go. Goodbye." The teacher smiled once again before ending the call.

Hazel's teacher told the men that she had a great understanding of many things but literacy just isn't what she's great at. Her spelling isn't at what it should be at this age and neither is her punctuation. Sometimes she might forget a capital letter, or a full stop, or a comma, but either way she was trying and everyone was so proud of how far she's came along, in less than a year she has accomplished many things with the men and will accomplish many more.

Not long after the call the door opened and in walked Niall and Harry, they had previously been visiting family and on the way home Harry picked up Niall, bringing him back here, to their home, in London, with their family.

"We're home!" Niall shouted through the house and as if on the dot, you heard little feet running on the floor, speeding down the stairs, as Hazel through herself right into Niall's arms.

"Hello kitten. I missed you!" Niall said, spinning her around in his arms.

"I missed you too." The girl said hugging Niall close.

"Do I not get a hug?" Harry asked, fake pouting, arms open wide. Niall let the girl go and she jumped right into Harry's arms.

"I missed you so much cupcake." Harry said, hugging her close and pressing a kiss to her cheek.

"I missed you too." Hazel mumbled into Harry's shirt as her face was stuffed into it.

They all went to the couch where Liam, Zayn and Louis are, giving them all a hug too.

"You guys actually came in at the perfect time. We just came of the phone with Hazel's teacher." Liam said to the two who just came.

"Really? What was she saying?" Niall asked while Hazel ran upstairs to grab her drawing pad to show everyone her new drawing.

"Yeah, she was talking about this literacy test thing she had earlier. We were just talking about her progress and everything. Her literacy skills aren't at what they should be at her age but she has come a long way from when she just started. I'm so proud of her." Zayn explained.

"We are all so proud of her. She is doing amazing." Louis said, taking a seat with a cuppa tea.

As soon as that happened Hazel came down and showed her new drawing of the family, everyone enjoying the moment.
