I screamed, I couldn't stop screaming, my throat raw from it. I felt a slap across my cheek, my vision coming back to reality. I was in my room, in my bed with Ominis and Sebastian at either side, looking down at me with so much worry it hurt.

I felt tears rush down my face, as I covered my eyes with my hands and sobbed. I was home and safe. Thank god. "Merlin darling...what happened? I've never heard you scream like that..." I heard Sebastian ask quietly.

I sat up, hugging my arms. "A dream...actually no, more like a nightmare..."I gasped out, my voice shaky and scared like a small child's. I held one of my hands to my chest, as though to try and slow my rapidly beating heart.

I felt as though I could be compared to a hummingbird with how fast my heart was beating. "What happened?" Sebastian asked quietly, Ominis tugging me into his arms protectively. I bit my lip, shaking my head.

"Darling you're shaking like a leaf, please tell us what's going on with you!" Ominis begged me, his grip on my arm tightening again. "Please...I'm so sorry I got angry with you, I know it wasn't fair of me. But please don't let my stupidity stop you from turning to us for help. I think you know you need it this time, whatever is scaring you...we can help you I promise."

I swallowed hard, still unsure. Sebastian stood, coming around to the other side of the bed to be closer, wrapping his arms around both Ominis and I. I could feel myself slowly calming down, as he rubbed his hand in a circular motion on my back.

I took a deep breath. "There's someone in the forest...I don't know who or why but she wants to kill me, and came very close to doing so...She has two Acromantulas with her, but they're huge...I've never seen spiders that large..."

I trailed off, the images of the hungry spiders from my nightmare flashing through my mind once again. Ominis hushed me, kissing my forehead. "That's enough darling...the last thing either of us want is for you to relive your nightmare..."

I nervously glanced up at Sebastian, who was staring at me intently, his expression unreadable. He seemed incredibly conflicted. "I really was trying to do the right thing Seb..."I said shakily, trying to get his attention.

He blinked, seeming to snap back to reality. "Oh...Oh darling of course you were..I know that. I don't blame you, not at all...I shouldn't have taken my anger out on you...I'm so sorry...Ominis is right, that is something I need to work on. Unfortunately it tends to happen a bit, I get too consumed over what I may be feeling, that I forget how my emotions may be impacting you..."

"At least you acknowledge it.. But we can discuss it more later. How can we help you right now sweetheart?" Ominis asked, wanting the focus to be on my needs. I tried to think of something, but my mind fell blank.

"I don't know...I'm sorry..." I wailed. Ominis shook his head. "It's alright, we can figure it out together. Why don't you tell us what happened when you first discovered that person in the forest?"

As I recounted my tale, I watched as both my boys became more agitated, both at the fact I had been targeted and that she had attacked me without their knowledge. "No wonder you seemed so out of sorts yesterday...I wish you had just told us..." Ominis trailed off.

"But I can understand why you didn't sweetheart, you were trying to spare our feelings right? You didn't want us to worry about you." Sebastian intervened, nudging Ominis who nodded in response.

"We promised to help you with anything you needed. You are so important to us, and while I can understand why, please let us help you now. Your safety means everything to us." Sebastian reassured me.

I nodded. "So...you believe me?" "Of course we do Darling! As I've said in the past, you're a bad liar, but you also wouldn't lie about something like this." Sebastian said, trying to convince me. I sighed in relief, laying back on the bed.
