By the time I woke up, the sun looked to be much higher in the sky, the air warm as trails of sunlight snuck in between the curtains. Ominis had disappeared, but Sebastian was still snoring quietly behind me. A smile crept onto my lips, as I turned to look at him.

I took in his messy brown curls and freckled face, peacefully sleeping without a care in the world. His lips were slightly open, and his eyes under the lids were still twitching with dreams I couldn't see. It wasn't fair, he was so handsome, even when asleep.

I loosened his grip around my waist, carefully crawling to the door. I wondered where Ominis had disappeared to? Instead of looking for him however, I quietly went into the bathroom and washed, before sneaking back into my room.

Mum and Dad must already be at work doing their chores. Back in my room, I pulled on a pale green short sleeved dress that cinched at my waist, along with my boots. I tugged my hair loose, letting it fall over my shoulders as I brushed away all the little tangles.

As I looked at myself in the mirror, I smiled. It was over, and now we should spend the days however we wanted. I cleaned my glasses, before putting them back on my face. I giggled. I had never noticed it, but dressing this way almost made me look like a fairy. I shook my head at the thought. I picked up my wand, putting it in my pocket before heading downstairs. I could hear voices coming from the kitchen, so I stopped to listen.

"I cannot thank you enough for hosting us. You see, where I come from, children are taught to stand and look nice, but not to voice opinions. My parents placed a great deal of importance into my education, however they believed that due to our 'pure blood', we were better than the rest of society.

My parents were fond of dark spells and magic, and encouraged us to be the same. My brothers took to the dark spells, but they never sat well with me. I left as soon as I was able to, but when Sebastian's uncle died we were forced to stay with them again for a couple of weeks. They like Sebastian, but their cruelty hadn't changed." Ominis finished, I could see him sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of tea.

"So, In the wizarding world, blood status is really that important?" I heard my mother ask. Ominis paused. "I suppose in the muggle world it's similar to the class system. Some believe it to be of great importance, and those who are higher up in status are deemed more important.

However I've never believed that ones blood or class status is that important. I judge a person's choices and character, so when I met your daughter you can imagine how surprised I was to find out she was muggleborn." I heard mum hum into a mug of what I assumed was her own tea.

"How do you mean? Is she bad at magic or something?" "Not at all. In the wizarding world, the assumption that I grew up with was the stronger the magical blood, the stronger the magical abilities. When she and I first met however, she proved that stereotype wrong over and over. I have never met a more powerful witch, her spells are strong and her wit and compassion refreshing.

It proved to me that anyone can be more than their status, through hard work and determination." I felt myself blush, Ominis' words leaving a warm feeling in my chest. I heard my mother hum once again, this time in approval.

"So you really love her that much? I couldn't ask for a better partner for my little Honey. Though I have to admit, I was a little surprised to find that you were both romantically involved with her. Although with the way you all act, I suspect there is a lot of love between the three of you. You boys are welcome here anytime, I'd hate for you to go back to your family. As harsh as that may seem, I don't want either of you being hurt by them again."

"You are very kind. I can definitely see where she gets it from. It's true, I love your daughter very much. While the three of us haven't been together romantically for too long, It is my hope that one day I can marry her, If she'd have me. However, that will be her choice, to take either my name or Sebastian's. I don't care, as long as we remain together."

I snuck a peek into the kitchen, seeing Ominis' cheeks were pink but he had the softest smile I had ever seen. "And what of Sebastian? You don't mind sharing with him?" Mum asked quietly. Without skipping a beat Ominis shook his head.

"I know this might seem hard to understand, I don't fully understand it myself yet. But I love Sebastian as well. It may be a different kind of love to the love I feel for her, but it's love nonetheless. Even If she does decide one day that she only wants to be with Sebastian, while I would mourn losing her, I couldn't be angry with either of them. They are the ones I hold dearest, and I would do anything to keep them by my side. However, I hope that day never comes, and I can be with them forever."

"It's Interesting isn't it? Ominis and I may argue, but he and I feel exactly the same way about you and about each other. It's crazy how things have managed to align the way that they have." Sebastian whispered from behind me, causing me to jump and smack his chest.

"You scared me!" He chuckled, pulling me to sit on the chair by the fireplace. "I saw you were missing and wanted to get up to find you. How did you sleep?" "Well, at least I feel more rested. Although I always sleep better with you two."

He looked me over, I noticed him eyeing my dress. "You look beautiful Darling. Merlin...I don't think you have any idea of what you do to me..."I giggled. "It's just how I dress Seb. So...what were you and Dad talking about yesterday before we left? I never did get to ask." Sebastian pulled me to sit closer, draping his arms over my shoulders.

"Oh, the usual things an overprotective father says to his daughter's boyfriend. Don't hurt her...I'll kill you if you do...be good...that kind of thing. Although after the threats he was very encouraging, I think he likes me." Sebastian smirked.

I shook my head. Both mum and Dad knew and seemed to have their favourites. I wondered if they were placing bets on who I was going to end up with in regards to marriage, the same way Amit and Sam had back at Hogwarts. "Do you really feel the same way as Ominis? You want to marry me one day?" Sebastian chuckled, kissing my hair.

"Darling I have felt that way from the moment you beat me in defence against the dark arts. While I don't really care if you take my name or Ominis', It would be nice to do something one day to ensure we all know we belong to each other. Perhaps Ominis and I could take your last name?" I giggled again.

"It's not very conventional is it?" "Maybe not, but when are things ever?" "That's true. Say, we have the rest of the summer to ourselves now, any ideas on what we should do?" Sebastian sat back, pondering my question. "I'd like to explore the forest when there's not someone in it trying to kill us. I could bring some books and read them aloud, and perhaps we could bring the chess set I packed?" I grinned. "That sounds perfect. You'll have to teach me how to play though."
