I sneezed awake, only to realise that I was not where I had fallen asleep. It had been foolish of me, I hadn't returned to the common room as I was supposed to. My body felt achy and my head was pounding.

I should have known better than to fall asleep in the Astronomy tower. That wasn't where I found myself now however, I was bundled up in my blanket by the fire in the library. It looked like it was late afternoon, but it was hard to tell from where I sat.

I wrapped my blanket tighter. I was still in my pyjamas, while everyone around me was in uniform. Had I missed something? How did I get here? Still, I couldn't complain, the warmth of the fire was soothing to my aching limbs.

Everyone In the library, though few, seemed to just keep to themselves instead of watching me, for which I was thankful. "Finally awake?" Poppy appeared at my side, smiling warmly, though her eyes gave her worry away.

"Hi Poppy. How did I get here?" I asked curiously. She knelt at my side, putting a hand on my arm. "Amit found you and sent for Sebastian to help carry you in here. He thought it was only appropriate your boyfriend carry you."

I nodded, my cheeks turning red from embarrassment. "Are you alright? You look flushed." Poppy noted, using her hand to check my forehead. I was still too tired to argue, and I was somehow ok taking comfort in Poppy's worry for me.

She seemed to nod to herself, retracting her hand. "You're ok. Are you going to sleep some more?" She had seemed to ease her worries, but I still had questions. "Poppy, it's a school day! Don't we have lessons to get to?"

She smiled, shaking her head. "Professor Weasley has given a few of us some leeway if you will. We've been taking it in turns to watch over you until you woke up and felt steady enough to head back to the Ravenclaw common room to get some proper rest." I processed what she had said.

"What do you mean 'us'?" I asked nervously. She giggled. "We've been taking it in turns to watch over you so that we don't fall too far behind. Sebastian started, but of course, got shooed away by Scribner after a while. Then Sam took over, followed by Natty, and now myself. Ominis was supposed to take over after me, did you want to wait for him?"

"Yes I...wait a minute. Poppy, how did you know about...Sebastian and Ominis?" I looked to her nervously, but she simply smiled and looked away, shrugging. She knew, cheeky girl. But I was thankful for her lack of teasing.

I sighed, leaning back into the plush cushions of the library couch. It was not the first time I had fallen asleep in the library, but it was the first time I had so many looking after me. "Thanks Poppy..."

I mumbled, feeling my heavy eyelids close once again. "You're welcome honey." I heard her say softly, as she seemed to shuffle to get comfortable again. I drifted off to sleep once again, more comfortable this time.

A couple of hours must have passed, because the next time I woke up, the Library was nearly empty, and the windows outside were dark. I blinked, yawning and rubbing sleep from my eyes, my glasses at a funny angle from still keeping them on while resting.

"Well well, good morning sleeping beauty." I smiled as I heard Ominis' voice from beside me. I shifted, leaning into his lap. "How long have you been here?" "A couple of hours. Poppy noted that you still seemed exhausted, so I thought it best to let you sleep."

He smiled, but soon frowned. "Darling, falling asleep in strange places is not like you. You could have fallen off the tower!" I sighed, nodding. "I know, I know." "Emmy, what's troubling you? You've been a bit more distant since the second task, and it really isn't like you. I'd understand if you were around some of your girlfriends or studying, but you've just been more...quiet."

Ominis wrapped an arm around my waist, his gentle hands warm on my tummy. "I don't want to worry you..." "I'm already worried. So I might as well know what I'm worrying about." I could hear the playful tone in his voice, feeling safe to tell him what had been on my mind.

As I explained that I had seen his parents, and how strange things had felt, Ominis hummed in acknowledgment. Surprised by his calm reaction, I sat up, looking him over. "I thought you'd be more worried about this. What's gotten into you?"

He smiled. "You did. Yes, it does worry me, but there isn't really anything we can do about it now. I'd rather you get some adequate rest, and we take the next trial as it comes. I suspect you've not figured out the clue yet, but you will. I have faith in you."

I felt warmth spread in my chest, thankful that Ominis was choosing to keep a cool head this time. " And besides, no one can compete with the champion of Hogwarts!" Sebastian piped up from behind me, causing me to shriek and lightly smack his arm.

"Stop doing that!" He simply laughed, before kissing my forehead as I sulked. "Come on cheeky bunny, let's get you back to the Ravenclaw common room." He then suggested, to which I nodded, standing carefully and wrapping my blanket around my shoulders again to cover myself.

As my loves led me back toward the stairs, we began to chatter about this and that as we normally would. I was thankful that things were somewhat normal again. However, something In my stomach kept warning me that danger was approaching, but for now, there was little I could do to stop it.
