After some breakfast, the three of us headed out into the forest. The warm and gentle breeze tugged at my hair as we strolled. The picnic basket I had packed bumped on my legs as I walked, a sense of peace filling me. I had nothing to worry about now.

My parents knew I was with my loves, the madwoman was gone, and now we had the entire summer. I sighed happily, looking up toward the summer sky, the sun leaving warmth on my face. "Where are we going my love?" Ominis asked, taking my free hand.

"To the whispering willow tree. It's my favourite place, and it'll be nice to show you when you're not panicked." I saw Ominis smile, Sebastian shaking his head. "Hopefully we don't get sunburned. What have you got in your little basket of tricks my Darling?" I shrugged.

"Just some sandwiches and scones. Unfortunately, there are no sweet shops here, and the only one nearby is a tad expensive in muggle money, so I've done my best to work with what I had." He wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "That's more than enough my love. Arguably, probably the healthier choice for us, we cannot live off sugar after all."

I laughed. "You know you would If you could Sallow." He mocked being offended, before looping his arm in mine instead. "You wound me, my lady. Is that it?" Sebastian pointed to the willow, it looking just as beautiful as the prior time I had visited.

I nodded, pulling them both into its leaves, using my wand to set up a picnic blanket. As the three of us made ourselves comfortable, I pulled out the assortments of sandwiches and homemade lemonade I had made, plating them up for each of the boys.

"These look adorable! Since when do you cut your sandwiches so small?" Sebastian teased. I rolled my eyes. "In most picnics, it is meant to be finger food." "So if I fingered you, would you be considered food?" he asked, Ominis choked on his glass of Lemonade, my face turning red.

"What?" Sebastian asked, confused. "THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU JUST SAID SEBASTIAN." Ominis shouted, his face arguably more red than my own. Sebastian took a few moments to process, before his face went red as well. "I MEANT IF I POKED HER! Merlin you both have such-"

"Don't you dare pin this on us, you made the comment without thinking." I put my face in my hands, laughing. For someone so knowledgeable, he was incredibly naive at times. Soon, Ominis joined in my laughter, Sebastian crossing his arms grumpily.

"I don't get what's so funny." "you're taking this too personally my love, if you had been serious I'd have taken that as a bad attempt at flirting." I leaned on his shoulder, nuzzling into his neck. Ominis took this moment to lean down and lay his head in my lap, his face nestled comfortably on my legs.

There we stayed, the afternoon warmth sneaking through the cool shade of the willow tree, as Sebastian taught me how to play chess, Ominis flipping through a book of his own to entertain himself. It was perfect, exactly what I had wanted.

It was just too bad that the afternoon didn't stay that way. Thunder boomed overhead, rain beginning to drizzle around us. "We should head back, we don't want to get sick." Ominis suggested. I shook my head. "We could do that, or we could have some fun in the rain?"

I stood, walking out into the raindrops, soon finding myself completely soaked. The rain causing puddles in the mud, to which I leaped into, laughing heartily. I hadn't done this since I was a child. "Come on you two!" I called, waving my hands at them.

They watched me like I was a madwoman. I rolled my eyes, dragging them out into the rain with me. Sebastian and I entertained ourselves by leaping into the multitude of puddles now beginning to form, laughing more and more as we did so, Ominis simply smiling and shaking his head.

"Honestly, the two of you are acting like children." I took his hand. "Have you never allowed such a simple thing to bring you joy, my love? Just try it, for me?" I begged. Ominous sighed heavily, a grin forming on his face.

"He won't do it, Gaunts are far too proper." Sebastian goaded. "Y'know what Sallow? You can bugger off." Ominis found a large puddle, leaping into it and splashing Sebastian in mud. We kept at it for a while, Ominis becoming increasingly more competitive.

"I bet I can make a bigger splash than you!" "How would you know?" Sebastian retorted. Both chose that exact moment to leap into the same puddle, slipping. I went to try and catch them, falling into the mud with a squelch, the three of us now soaked and engulfed in mud. Ominis sat up, stunned. "Are you both alright?" he asked worriedly. I laughed. "Yes, though your enthusiasm is adorable."

We crawled back into the willow tree, shivering and huddled together for warmth. I found myself squished in between my loves, as was often the case. "This was really fun, hopefully we can do this again tomorrow." Sebastian commented. "As often as you like my love, we have the whole summer."

Ominis hummed, leaning his head on mine. "You know, we do have something to look forward to when back at school." "Oh?" I asked, curious. "The Yule ball and triwizard tournament will be at Hogwarts this year. I don't know about you two, but I'd love to take you to the ball."

I looked at him quizzically. I wasn't sure what the triwizard tournament was, but I did like the idea of a ball. "From your confusion I'm guessing you have no idea what Ominis is talking about. The triwizard tournament is a variety of challenges in which multiple schools compete in order to be victorious. Each school chooses a competitor, one of the schools usually hosting the other three.

It's fascinating to watch. The Yule ball tends to happen at christmas, and involves a lot of dancing." I processed what Sebastian had told me. "How do the competitors get chosen?" "They volunteer by putting their name in the Goblet of fire. Don't worry, it's not mandatory." I felt my worry wash away.

I was ok with not being in another crazy school event. I smiled. "The Yule ball sounds fun. I'm hoping I'll be asked to go." I saw both boys look at me baffled through my peripheral vision. "You're mad if you think we won't ask you!" "Ominis is right, you can't escape us that easily." I laughed heartily.

"Let's get through the summer first, ok? I'm surprised you two are so interested in the ball." Ominis blushed. "Can I tell you a secret?" "Of course?" He intertwined his fingers in mine. "I actually really love going to parties and dancing. I'm not very good at it of course, but Sebastian has taught me a couple of steps." I bit my lip to hide my laugh. How adorable! "I didn't know you could dance Seb?"

He grinned cockily. "I could teach you if you like?" "I just have the mental image of you two practicing a waltz in my head now." I giggled, taking both of their hands. "I cannot wait for next year, but let's enjoy summer for now."

"Of course my love." "I wouldn't miss it for the world."
