Chapter 52: Back Together Again

(y/n) POV

"(Y/N) YOU PUT THAT SWORD DOWN THIS INSTANT!" Mom yelled, "(y/n) I'd listen to your mom, she gets violent when she's mad." Yang said, "No Mom, I hear you, but Imma dip out and be back in like twenty minutes." I said, "Oh no you're not! I'm your Mother little boy! You listen to me!" Mom said, "Fair point, counterpoint, I'm already jumping." I said as I jumped out of the Hydra.

Blake POV

"He gets that from you." I said, "How?" Yang said as I sat in the gunner's seat, "Well we have been flying for three days now. He's probably just a little stir-crazy." she said, "That's cause you insisted on investigating every rumor we heard about Ruby and Weiss. Hell, you even said that they were nothing!" I said as I shot down dozens of Grimm.

(y/n) POV

Aunt Blair had taught me how to use my flames to fly a long time ago, Mom killed dozens of Grimm, "Kill joy." I said disappointedly I was about to return to the Hydra when a massive Grimm swooped down on me and slammed me into the ground, my semblance and aura protected me. "This is gonna be fun." I said as I drew my sword and looked up at the massive Grimm.

We stared each other down waiting for either of us to make the first move while sizing up our strengths, but more importantly, our weaknesses. In an instant, it lunged at me. I dodged its clawed wing and cut its wing grounding it. It roared in pain striking at me with its tail, but I cut it off. I took a breath and slashed creating flames along my blade, and as I cut into the Grimm, the flames spread almost instantly engulfing the monster.

Blake POV

"You've gotta admit, he has skill." Yang said, "Yeah, a bit too much skill." I said as (y/n) sheathed his blade and flew back up to the Hydra, "You did great out there kiddo." Yang said, "I thought it would be stronger." (y/n) said before putting Wilt and Blush on the weapons rack and lied down on the seats.

We finally made it to Patch and the car we rented broke down almost instantly, "I'll go see what I can..." Yang said as (y/n) opened the hood and fixed the car before getting back in, "The belt broke, I substituted the strap on my weapon to fix it long enough to get a replacement." (y/n) said with the same bored look on his face. "Hey, lose the attitude little boy, you're not too old to get a spanking." I said, "Whatever." He said, "Blake, he's doing his best to adjust. Just give him time." Yang said as she held my hand. "Now, hopefully, we can make it to my Dad's house and get this car fixed." she said as we began driving.

"DAD!" Yang shouted as she kicked open the door, suddenly I felt something pressed against my back, "Don't move." I said as the woman stabbed my clone and turned to face me while (y/n) aimed Blush at her and I aimed my gun at her. She dropped the knife and turned around shocking us.

"Weiss?" I said, "I'll take my weapon back thank you." she said coldly as I hugged her, "Let me go." she said coldly as she pushed me away with a glyph, "Stand down, Ice Queen, or I'll put you down." (y/n) said coldly, "(Y/N)!" I said, "You got rude since I last saw you. I'll teach you manners." Weiss said.

(y/n) POV

Weiss drew her sword and lunged at me, but I shot her in the leg tripping her, and stabbed past her head, "I'm out of your league, little girl." I said coldly. She jumped back and created a bolt of ice and launched it at me, but I shattered it with my flames, "I'd run if I were you." I said as I appeared behind her and sheathed my sword, "You little brat!" she said, "Bang." I said as I shot Wilt into her stomach knocking her out, "And I thought you would be stronger." I said, "What's going on out here?" a woman said as she and another girl walked outside.  

"MY BABY!" the girl shouted excitedly as she took Cressent Rose from Mom, "And who's the librarian?" I asked, "Glynda Goodwich, I'm Yang and Ruby's new stepmother." she said, "Here Blake this is yours." Ruby said as she returned my mother's original weapon.
