Chapter 38: How I Met Your Mother

Blake POV

"BLAKE PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME GO!" Yang cried, "What's going on? Blake, are you trying to get Yang to get a haircut?" Ruby asked, "I DON'T WANNA GO MEET YOUR PARENTS!" Yang cried, "Ok honey I'm gonna end this now, just know I do this out of love. BLAIR TAKE THE SHOT!" I said, suddenly a dart shot into Yang's neck. "It took four horse tranks to get her to stop running, four more to make her immobile, and another four to knock her out. I swear to God she better stay unconscious until you three get to Menagerie." Blair said as she popped out of a bush, "Now go before she wakes up." She said as she helped me drag Yang to the bullhead.

"GAMMA!" I shouted as I ran over to my grandmother and jumped into her arms, "Hi." I said as I hugged her, "Hello sweetheart. W...Where's your mother?" Gamma asked, "Hi Mom." Mama said as she dragged Mama Yang behind her, "Blake sweetheart who is that...and why is she unconscious?" Gamma asked, "I'll explain later, where's Dad? Despite how she looks she's really heavy." Mama said, "GHYRA! PUT YOUR PANT'S ON! OUR DAUGHTER AND GRANDSON ARE HOME AND THEY'VE BROUGHT AN UNCONSCIOUS GIRL WITH THEM!" Gamma shouted, "AGAIN?! I THOUGHT SUN WENT HOME!" Grandpa said.

"Ok sweetie go ahead and pour it." Mama said as I poured a bucket of water onto Mama Yang. "WHAT HAPPENED?! AND WHY AM I WET?!" Yang said as she woke up, "Oh I had the strangest dream, you were there, and you were there. And Blake you wanted me to meet your parents!" She said, "Mom, Dad this is Yang Xiao Long, my girlfriend." Mama said as I jumped onto Mama Yang, "I know why I'm wet now." Mama Yang said, "Sowy." I said, "It's not your fault...we were both startled you by me yelling, and me meeting your grandparents." She said, "Hug." I said as I hugged her, "Love ya kiddo." She said as she hugged me and kissed my cheek.

Yang POV

"H-Hi, I'm Yang Xiao Long, I'm dating your daughter, and your grandson sees me as a second mother." I said, "I like her." Blake's mom said, "I don't know how I feel about you yet. I know I like you more than Sun, but I don't know if you're right for my daughter." Blake's dad said, "Dad!" Blake said, "That's fair, I mean I didn't wanna come here cause I was scared you wouldn't like me. I now see how dumb that was. All that matters is what Blake and (y/n) think of me." I said, "Yang would you like to see some of Blake's baby pictures?" Blakes mom asked, "I'd love to Mrs. Belladonna." I said, "Oh please call me Kali." She said as we walked away.

Blake POV

"She got Mom to like her. That's my girl for ya!" I said proudly, "She took out the real threat." I said, "I'm right here Blake." Dad said, "No offense Dad, but the only one you successfully scared away was Sun and it took me leaving with him to make him leave." I said, "Mom on the other hand, well let's just say there's a reason why you've never met all my previous ex's. Mom might seem calm and composed, but I know right away when she doesn't like someone. It was like that with (y/n)'s dad and look at what happened to him." I said, "What happened? Did you break up?" Dad asked, "Yes, and then Adam killed him." I said, "Oh." He said.

After staying with my parents for a few days, my dad finally warmed up to Yang. "We're home." I said, "Hey Blake, welcome back." Ruby said, "What's up? Did something happen?" I asked, "Yeah, all the remaining Hashira are dead. Terra got tired of them so she had them all killed." Blair said. "Oh my." I said, "Mom's having a talk with her right now, but if you saw what I did you'd think differently about Terra. She really is a monster." She said.
