Chapter 8: Lost kitty

(y/n) POV

"Mis. Goodwitch can you watch (y/n) for me?" Mama asked, "Of course!" Mis. Goodwitch said as she took me from Mama, "Might I ask why though? If I'm not mistaken your prefer to spend your free time with your son." She asked, "Yeah, but we're going to the docks and it's almost nap time so we won't be back before he falls asleep." Mama said, "I understand, now go have fun with your friends." Mis. Goodwitch said, "Bye sweetie be good. I'll come pick you up later." Mama said as she gave me a kiss and walked away, "Mama." I said as I reached for my mother, "Don't worry sweetie she's just going out with her friends." Mis. Goodwitch said as she carried me away.

"Mama." I said as I tried to run away, "(y/n) sweetie your mom will be back later I promise." Mis. Goodwitch said, "Hey um Mis. G, I'm here to pick up (y/n)." Yang said, "Miss Xaio Long why is Miss Belladonna not here?" Mis. Goodwitch asked, "Weiss and Blake got into a fight. Things were said, and Blake ran away. We're looking for her, but...look I just think (y/n) should get to go home." Yang said as I ran over to her, "Very well, just see that Miss Belladonna is found soon." Mis. Goodwitch said as we left.

"Mama!" I said, "I know you want your mom, but she...she's missing right now bud." Yang said, "MAMA!" I cried, "(y/n) please calm down." She said only making me cry more.

Yang POV

It took almost two hours for me to calm (y/n) down, "We're back." Ruby said exhaustedly, "It took a while, but I finally got him to go to sleep." I said, "The entire time he was balling about how he wanted his mom." I said, "Weiss look at him, and tell me do you see a killer or innocent child?" I asked, "Yang what are you trying to get at here?" Weiss asked, "Answer the question." I said, "A sweet and innocent child." She said, "He's no different than his mother, and if you even try to say otherwise I have a little recording for you to listen to." I said, "I'm going to sleep with him tonight. He needs someone to care for him." I said.

"Mama." (y/n) said, "Weiss you could help you know." Ruby said, "You know who else could help...the police." Weiss said, "Bad ice queen." (y/n) said as he threw his shoe at Weiss.

(y/n) POV

"(y/n) are you hungry? We could go get some lunch." Yang said, "Mama." I said, "I know, I know we're trying to find her." She said as she hugged me, "Why don't we go eat, you're a growing boy you need to eat." Weiss said I buried my face in Yang's chest, "Come on (y/n) you can't stay mad at me!" Weiss said, "Bad Weiss." I said.

"He hates me!" Weiss said, "He doesn't hate you, Weiss, he just misses his mom. But in his defense, you haven't really been there for him during all of this." Yang said, "It's sweet though, he completely skipped lunch just so we could keep looking for Blake." She said, "He really loves her." Weiss said as I ate a chicken nugget, "(y/n) sweetie, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean for any of this to happen." Weiss said, "Sweetie say something." She said, I got up and hugged her, "Does this mean you forgive me?" She asked I nodded, "Ruby just called, she found Blake. They're at the docks." Yang said.

"MAMA!" I yelled happily as I ran to my mother, "Hi sweetie." Mama said as she hugged me, "I'm so sorry sweetie I shouldn't have run." She said as she kissed my forehead.

Blake POV

"I'm glad we made up Weiss." I said as I tucked (y/n) into bed, "Me too, but I'm more glad that (y/n) isn't mad at me anymore." Weiss said, "The last thing he said to me was "bad Weiss" and then he wouldn't say a word to me until I apologized for the millionth time!" She said, "He's such a good boy, and when he's mad and refuses to talk to you it hurts. I should know I've been on the receiving end." I said, "Really?!" She said, "Oh yeah, you got off easy. When he ignored me he wouldn't talk to me for a whole week!" I said.
