Chapter 20: Trains, flames, and grimm

(y/n) POV

"AW YEAH MY LIL' BUDDY'S BACK!" Ruby shouted happily, "Ruby he's in trouble! This is not the time to be playing with him no matter how adorable he is!" Weiss said, "(y/n) why did you hide in my bag?" Yang asked, "Family." I said, "That's so so sweet, but (y/n) you have to understand that you cant do stuff like this." She said, "Yang mad." I said sadly, "No no sweetie I'm not mad at all, I'm just worried that something might happen to you." She said as she hugged me. Suddenly there was a loud bang.

A lot happened in the ten minutes that passed, at one point Auntie Blair set a car on fire. "Jaune you three evacuate the other passengers, and I want you to take (y/n) with you." Ruby said, "Bye lil' buddy. We WILL see you at Argus." She said as she hugged me quickly before she left. "Let's go bud." Jaune said as he picked me up and carried me away, "MAMA! MAMA!" I cried as he carried me away.

"Mama." I cried, "Excuse me, but are you alright sweetie?" A woman asked as she put her hand on my shoulder. "He's fine. His mom was one of the huntresses who stayed behind to keep the grimm off us." Jaune said, "I'm so sorry, I can't even begin to imagine how hard this is for you." The woman said before leaving. "(y/n) Blake will be fine." Ren said.

Jaune POV

"Um Jaune I hate to bring this up, but where are we gonna stay? We have no idea how long it'll the others to get here." Nora said as (y/n) slept in her arms while she held him, "Well there is one place we could stay at for a while that I had in mind." I said, "Well let's get going." She said.

"JAUNE!" Saphron shouted happily waking (y/n), "Good going, sis." I said as she tackled me while (y/n) started crying.

(y/n) POV

"Ok so little (y/n) here is not your son, but he's one of your friend's son." Miss Saphron said as I sat on her lap, "Yep. His mom helped keep the grimm away while we escaped." Jaune said, "I'm so sorry (y/n) you must really miss her." Saphron said as she hugged me from behind, "Yeah." I said sadly, "Well you are more than welcome to stay here as long as you need to sweetie." She said sweetly. "Saphron we're home." A woman said as she walked into the house, "Oh welcome home Terra." Saphron said as Terra and a boy about my age walked into the room. "Did you have fun at daycare Adrian?" Saphron said, suddenly Adrian began glaring at me. "Oh looks like Adrian has some competition for the cutest baby in the house." She said, "Speaking of, who's kid is that?" Terra asked, "Terra this is (y/n) Belladonna, he'll be staying with us for a while along with Jaune and his friends." Saphron said.

"(y/n) sweetie, will you be ok sleeping on your own?" Saphron asked I didn't answer, "You can come sleep with Me and Terra if you want." She said, I nodded and followed her to her room. "Terra (y/n)'s gonna sleep with us tonight." She said, "That's fine, honestly I figured that you'd have him sleep with us or that you'd sleep with him considering what he's been through." Terra said as Saphron tucked me in before getting into bed herself.

Blake POV

"I wonder how (y/n) is doing." I said, "I'm sure he misses you. I heard he's been having nightmares is he ok?" Yang asked, "Yeah, I think he's getting better." I said, "Hey can you explain something for me?" She asked, "Sure what's up?" I asked, "It's about (y/n), he treats me differently than the others, he treats me like you." She said I couldn't help but laugh, "Hey what's so funny?" She asked, "Sorry it's just I thought you knew already." I said, "Knew what?" She said, "Well Ruby and Weiss are his aunts, but not you. For a while now you haven't been auntie Yang to him, you've been mama Yang." I said, "Mama Yang." She said in shock, "You're the only person that's not related to him that he trusts as much as you." I said, "This is heartwarming and all, but will you two love birds get your asses to bed already!" Blair said.
