Chapter 27: Atlas falling

(y/n) POV

"Alright, everyone hurry and get off!" The pilot said, suddenly the manta began to shake violently. Then the manta began to fall. people tried to jump out onto Atlas only to fall back to Mantle, "HOLD ON!" The pilot yelled suddenly I was thrown out of the manta. I was going to die. "(Y/N)!" A man yelled suddenly I found myself in someone's arms, they were jumping from building to building until we were on the ground. I looked up and saw my father standing there, "Daddy!" I cried as I hugged him, "Hey there bud you're alright." Daddy said, "O...Oh my God, that's him that's your little boy!" A woman said, "Hi there sweetie, I'm Lilly. It's very nice to meet you, I've heard so much about you. I just wish we could have met under better circumstances." Lilly said, "Lilly take him." Daddy said as he handed me over to Lilly, I clung to her and continued to cry, "It'll be ok, you're going to be just fine." Lilly said.

Lilly POV

I was comforting (y/n) when I heard his soft snores, "Adam he needs to get to a shelter or an evacuation point! He can't stay out here!" I said that's when I saw him, "A...Adam!" I said in terror, "Lilly what's wrong?" Adam asked, "I...It's him! The man who murdered my father...Tyrian Callows!" I said, "Lill I thought you said your dad left." He said, "I lied! Me and Mama lied!  We did it to protect Luke." I said, "Please w...we have to go! I can't lose you and I would feel terrible if your son got hurt or worse because of me!" I said as a single tear fell from my eye, "Alright you two hide and I'll come and find you." He said, "W...What about you?" I asked, "I'll be fine, I'm just going to clear out the few remaining grimm in the area then I'll come and join you two." He said, "A...Alright." I said as I ran off with (y/n).

Blake POV

"We have to go get (y/n)!" I said, "Blake he's at Weiss' house, he'll be alright I promise." Yang said as she comforted me, "I hope you're right." I said as I rested my head on her shoulder, "I never should have sent him to Jaune, I should have just brought him right back to you!" Weiss said, "You were just trying to look out for me, you have absolutely nothing to be sorry for Weiss." I said, "She's right, and Blake I'm sorry to have to say this, but (y/n) is not the top priority here. Saving Mantle and its citizens is. So until we are able to push back the grimm we can't worry about (y/n), if he were still down in Mantle then this would be an entirely different story but he isn't and we will see him again and soon." Ruby said, suddenly Weiss looked at her scroll and got a shocked look, "Weiss?" I said, "B...Blake, the transport that was supposed to take (y/n) to my family home never made it. And apparently several mantas went down after they arrived at their drop off points." Weiss said, "Blake." Yang said her words seemed distant, "W...Weiss y...you're kidding, right? H...He's there at your house safe and sound he has to be." I said, "Blake no one will blame you if you need to take a breath." Yang said, I adamantly refused to accept what I knew deep down to be true. My baby is dead and it was all because I refused to leave to make sure he was safe. "No, NO! Here's what's going to happen, we're going to go see what Ironwood wants, then I'm going to go get my son and then I'm taking him home. Not a single person can tell me that my son is gone." I said, "Alright Blake sounds like a plan. You know what I'll come with you." Yang said.

(y/n) POV

"M...Mama." I said groggily as I woke up, "No, no sweetheart we don't know where your mom is." Lilly said, "You know your dad and I are pretty close, so in a way that kinda makes me like your step-mom." She said as she comforted me. "(y/n)?" Auntie Blair said in shock, "A...Are you Blake?" Lilly asked, "No Blake's my baby sister, I...I'm sorry but who are you and why is my nephew here?!" Auntie asked, "Lilly." I said, "Ok Lilly why is he here?" Auntie asked, "His manta was crashing, he was ejected from the open door and if it weren't for me he'd be dead." Daddy said from behind her, "Adam!" Auntie said as she turned to face Daddy, "How are you even alive?! Blake and Yang stabbed you!" She said as she drew her odachi, "I saved him." Lilly said, "Look Blair I'm not here to fight, honestly I didn't even think I'd ever see (y/n) again. I'm just glad I was there to save him again." Daddy said, "I want you to take (y/n) and Lilly to Atlas. Leave me here and don't look back." He said, "Adam you might be the biggest son of a...I mean the biggest jerk I've ever had the misfortune of meeting, but you were good to (y/n) and for whatever reason he seems to like you so I can't just leave you to die...no matter how much I want to." Auntie said as she tossed him a long piece of black fabric, "Put that over your eyes and put your hood up so no one will recognize you." She said as Lilly sat me down and I immediately fell and scraped my hands and knees. "Oh no! I'm so sorry sweetie!" Lilly said, "No this is good this way I'll be able to tell Blake that someone pushed him out of the manta before it took off." Auntie said as she picked me up, "And before we head to my pick up point I want to make one thing very clear Adam. I never want to see you again, I don't want you anywhere even remotely close to my family. I don't even want you in the same kingdom as my family. So once this is over I want you to go." Auntie said, "Don't worry that was the plan already." Daddy said, "Alright then let's go." Auntie said.

Blair POV

"Blake." I said as I carried (y/n) to his mother, "What happened? Why does Ironwood want you all arrested again?!" I asked, "It's a long story." Blake said as she hugged me and (y/n) and began to cry, "W...What happened to him, why didn't he go to Weiss' house?!" She asked, "Well um someone pushed him out of the manta before it took off. This girl, Lilly, she saw what happened and made sure he was safe. Thank God I found them." I said, "S...So he wasn't on the manta then?" She asked, "Nope he never even left Mantle." I said, "I'm so glad my baby boy is safe!" She cried, "Yeah I'm glad he's safe too." I said as I handed (y/n) over to her. "I'm just so glad." I said.
