Chapter 39: The New Enemy

Lilith POV

"Mom, are you sure this is a good idea?" I asked, "Shut up. You do not get to speak, the only reason why you are still allowed to come here is because your brother failed me and got himself killed. If I had any other options you would never set foot through the front doors again! Unfortunately, you are the last pawn I have left. Now play your part, do as you are told, and be the damn pawn you were always meant to be, God knows that's all you're good for other than that Misa girl's little plaything. You do know that one day she'll use you up and abandon you right?" Mom said, "Stop, you don't mean any of that." I said, "Oh sweetie, don't lie to yourself. We both know I meant every word I just said." She said, "It's your fault you ended up like this you know. I tried so God damn hard to make you the best you could ever possibly be, but you just prattled on and on about Daddy and the new baby, how you thought that Mommy and Daddy wouldn't love you because of the baby." She said, "Your brother was somehow even more pathetic than you were. He was a self-important, self-entitled, spoiled brat. He would just babble on and on about how when he wanted something he gets it. When he didn't get what he wanted he threw a fit even in his teens he was still a bratty pathetic child who never left my teet. So be proud of the fact that you developed your own will." She said, "You do know that no matter what I say, I still love you and I say these things out of love don't you sweetheart?" She said as she brushed my hair off to the side out of my face.

After my talk with Mom, I decided to call Misa. 'Hey, what's up?' Misa asked, "Misa mind if I come over tonight?" I asked, 'Depends, is it a good night or a "me and Mommy had another fight and now I need to go play with my girlfriend cause she's the only one who really cares about me" night?' She asked, "The second one." I said, 'Well you know I'll never turn you away even if you do get me in trouble at work." She said.

After hours of banging Misa, I made up my mind. "Misa." I said, "What ready for what round six?" Misa said jokingly, "Marry me." I said, "What?" She asked, "Let's get married." I said, "Lil, we're barely in our twenties, and I wouldn't call our relationship exactly healthy. What we have now is great, actually no it's amazing, and I would love to marry you someday, but not now. Let's see where we are in a year or so." She said, "Well at least I tried. Misa we need to break up." I said, "What? Because I said no you're gonna end this all because of that?!" She said, "No I'm ending this because I love you and I don't want to hurt you." I said as I got out of bed and walked over to the window, "What's going on Lil? This isn't like you." She said, "I'm going to die. Well, I'm going to be murdered, but that's what I want." I said, "What are you talking about?! Why would you say something like that?!" She asked, "Because my mother is going to murder me, and that will lead to her downfall." I said, "Lil as your best friend and girlfriend, I have to tell you that this is suicide! Please just step down from the ledge and come back to me." She said, "I can't do that. If I do then who's gonna save him from the monster?" I said, "Save who? Who are you talking about?!" She asked, "My nephew. I'm doing this for him, to show him, auntie Lilith isn't the bad girl she wanted him to think she was. I wanna show him who I really am." I said.

"MOM!" I said as I burst into my mother's office, "Lilith what have I told you about manners?" Mom said, "Shut up you old decrepit hag. I'm here to do something I should've done a long time ago!" I said as I slammed her head into her desk, "I see. So this is how you treat your mother then." She said as she wiped the blood from her lip. She shot a bolt of flames at me sending me flying through the wall and onto the lobby balcony, "Did you learn your lesson? If you did then maybe I'll only break your arms and most of your fingers." She said I stabbed her in the stomach, "Idiot." She said as she grabbed my throat and lifted me over the railing as she squeezed, "I-I win." I said weakly, "LILITH!" Blake shouted, "Go to Hell, monster." I said weakly.

Blake POV

"Go to Hell, monster." Lilith said, suddenly I heard Terra snap her neck before she dropped her, "S-She was right about you. You are a monster!" I said as tears streamed from my eyes, "You will NEVER see (y/n) again! I'd rather die than let you infect him with your perverse morals!" I cried before I left.

"Blake, what's the matter? Why are you crying?" Yang asked, "Go get (y/n) we are leaving." I said, "Terra is a monster. She just murdered Lilith in front of me." I said, "Oh my God!" She said, "I'll go get (y/n) packed we are all leaving this house tonight!" She said, "Thank you." I said as I collapsed to my knees.
