~Ruby~

I haven’t talked Asher in two weeks, I see him talking with Jango but when he sees me he walks away. Maybe I was wrong maybe I wasn’t his mate. The alpha meeting finished a week ago and well now Asher’s here just to finish the peace treaty he signed with Jango. I sat in the kitchen and sighed. “you ok?” Tony asked sitting by me. “I think I was wrong. I don’t think I’m Asher’s mate.” He raised a brow and asked “why you say that?” I sighed and said “well he’s been avoiding me for two weeks since we last talked. So I think I might have embarrassed myself. Besides that I think I might travel for a while you know try and find my second mate.” Tony spit out his drink. “what?” he asked I nodded and said “Jango already agreed so I will be going to other territories until Brook’s wedding then I’ll come back and hopefully with a mate.” I got up and headed upstairs to pack. No one knew the plan but me, Anna and Jango along with my cousin now. As I packed some things Anna walked in. “you sure about this?” she asked I nodded and said “I don’t know where to go but he’s gotta be out there somewhere. right?” she nodded and said “yeah.”

~Tony~

I was out the door racing to the spare house that Asher was staying in. I had to stop her from leaving why didn’t the idiot tell her she was his mate! I reached the door and pounded away. Derek the beta opened the door and looked at me. “can I help you?” he asked I took a deep breath and said “ASHER!!” Asher walked to the door and looked at me. “hi Tony…” before he even blinked I tackled him and started throwing punches. I threw him into the wall. “YOU ASS!!” I growled. Suddenly I was pulled off by Alpha Jango. “you!” he pointed at me. “over there!” I walked to the wall and leaned on it pissed. “and you! We all know you’re her second mate but since you are avoiding her she now believes your not! So she begged me to allow her to leave! TODAY! Get off your ass and get to the airport! She’s been hurt to many times! I will not let you harm her not you Asher… go after her. The plan leave at three.” Asher raced past us I turned to Jango he looked at me and hit me in the back of the head. “never attack an alpha!” I looked to the ground and sighed. “yes sir.” I stated and walked away.

~Asher~

I hated this. I wanted to talk to her but with how much pain she went through I wanted to keep her safe I wanted to protect her. I knew it was too soon to get into her heart but I needed to let her come around on her own terms. I looked at her every day and sighed. She needed to be happy but I didn’t want her to leave. I raced to the house as I walked in I saw her dad sitting on the couch with his head in his hands. “Mr. Hoodly?” I asked he looked up and right at me he growled and said “WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL HER! SHE’S NOT HERE SHE’S ALREADY ON THE PLANE BY NOW!” I shifted and ran towards the airport it was ten miles from the pack house. If I didn’t make it she would be gone forever.

I sat on the plane seat as we were getting ready for takeoff. I looked out the window at the field for the planes. First place I was going was Alpha Garson in Italy. I saw many people coming onto the plane and taking their seats it was not that crowded. I sighed and looked at the planes taking off before my plane. I watched as everyone was getting ready.

~Asher~

I raced into the airport and looked around there sat Luna Anna in tears. “ANNA!” she looked up and said “I tried to stall her but she’s already on the plane. Flight 42239.” I nodded and ran to the terminal. I looked at the flights. They were still boarding the flight. I ran past the baggage claim with people screaming at me. I didn’t care I had to stop her plane. As I reached the loading bay I saw the number flight as I ran to the door the flight attendant just shut it saying “I’m sorry sir but the plane already left.” I felt my heart shatter she was gone. I missed her flight. I walked out well more of was escorted out after explaining I was chasing my girlfriend who left. I walked to Anna and she smiled at me but her eyes saddened when she saw Ruby wasn’t with me… “you missed her?” I nodded.

I watched the scene below everything was so small. For some reason I felt like I was leaving my whole future behind. I wish I could find my mate the one who would make me happy. I sat on the plane as we flew through the place. I looked at the sky and looked at the time. This flight was a three hour flight. I leaned on the window and closed my eyes. Maybe some sleep would do me some good.

I sat on the couch as Tony, Jango and her father were trying to call her cell. “what do we do? How do we get her back?” her mother asked. Anna and her mother were on the couch. I never wanted her to leave. I never wanted her to go from her pack I just wanted her to have time to get use to being my mate. I had my head in my hands I felt I was lost she was my other half without her I wouldn’t be able to guide my pack right. I had to have an alpha female it was a natural instinct. The best way to guide your pack was with a mate.

I felt the need to go after her but I couldn’t I had no idea where she went. Who’s territory she went to. Anything like that Jango said she was doing it all on her own she didn’t want to bother him or me about things like that. I looked out the window just wishing she would come back. Willing for her to walk through that door and said it was a joke but she never did. She was gone from here Tony then said “she said until the wedding she would be looking for her second mate.” Wedding? Brook and Hank! I jumped up and said “where are Brook and Hank?” Jango got up and said “oh no your not rushing their marriage because you couldn’t stop your own mate.” I turned to him and said “but it’s the best way to bring her back!” Tony nodded agreeing with me. “she won’t find a second mate because he’s right here! We might as well get her back now!” I nodded agreeing. We needed her back well I did.
