~Ruby~

“AHH! No give me back the medallion!” I stated shoving Ash’s shoulder he lost his controller and I had my character attack his causing him to lose his medallion and me to pick it up. “your such a cheater.” He stated having his character chase mine. I smiled and jumped and kept running. Climb up the ropes. “Come one Red GO GO GO!” Tony cheered behind us. We’ve been playing a pirate game for three hours now since we woke up. I kept fighting against Ash. Tony laughed as I started to lose then stated something about going to his room.

Ash beat my butt and held up his fists saying “champion!!” I rolled my eyes and tackled him down. I sat on top of him and looked down at my mate. “whose a champion?” he smirked and flipped us over and started to kiss my neck. “me.” He stated I smiled and flipped us again. “think again.” He chuckled then a knock was heard we looked up seeing Skylar. He cleared his throat and said “one of the scouts is here.” Asher got up and said “ok.” He turned to me gave me a soft kiss then turned leaving. I sighed and walked down stairs as well I saw Asher walk into his study with another guy he had bright blonde hair like bleach blonde.

I walked down the stairs and outside. Maybe a walk would do me some good. As I walked wolves around all bowed to me saying “evening Luna.”

“great day isn’t it Luna?”

I shook my head and walked into the forest. I shifted and took off on a run. As I ran I thought about what it meant to be a Luna and what I could do to help a pack that was already almost perfect. I mean what did they expect me to do? Things ran so smoothly around here it was insane. I kept my run going when I heard a wolf yelp. I stopped running and listened. I cleared my mind opening it to all of my new pack.

'SOMEBODY HELP ME!'

That was Sam’s voice. I ran towards the yelp as fast as I could I stopped at a small clearing seeing a golden blonde wolf on the ground with three rogues around her. I growled and charged in taking the one on top of her down.

'Ruby!'

Sam screamed as I fought. The other two were circling behind my head so I wouldn’t see the attack.

'Sam get to the house now!'

She took off racing away and I bared my teeth at the rogues. Three on one wasn’t a thing I could handle but I had to try. One went to race after Sam but I jumped the other blocking his path as I growled. They were angry all rogues were always angry that’s one thing I know well. The one on my left charged in as I dodged it. Then the one of my right. I kept dodging and taking an attack when it would prove in my favor.

~Sam~

I ran to the house and slammed open the doors in the study. “Ruby Rogues forest!” I shouted Ash was past me in seconds I ran after him “you don’t know where they are!” I shifted as did the men following. There was a gray wolf mix in that I didn’t recognize. We reached the clearing seeing Ruby had a few cuts here and there but not much she was doing an excellent job better than me. Thank god.

~Ruby~

Ash came out of nowhere and tackled a rogue within in seconds he took off it’s head. I watched as he turned to the other two growled like a beast as their friend’s blood ran from his jaws. He looked pissed. I guess he wasn’t kidding when he said he would protect me. He stalked forwards towards the rogues making sure they were backing away from me. I watched as a rogue went for Sam again but this time Tony jumped it and took his paws in his mouth flipping it over and catching his throat in his jaws he crushed the throat killing it.

He was just as angry as Asher but Tony wasn’t protecting me he was protecting Sam… I watched as Tony stood before Sam as if challenging the last rogue to try and take her. The last rogue looked at us then fled racing through the bushes. Three wolves went after it as Asher turned to me. He licked my muzzle and asked

'are you alright?'

I nodded and he continued to lick my wounds.

'you were great at fighting but next time call me ok?' he asked as his tongue reached over my face. I shut my eyes and pushed my muzzle into his pelt under his chin. He pressed his head down on my as a wolf hug. We walked back to the house and I limped a bit. Asher noticed right away and shifted back picking me up in wolf form. He smiled and said “I’ll get a doctor to look at that.” we walked into the house and he laid me on the couch. I watched as Tony ran up the stairs screaming “I HAVE A MATE!!! AND SHE’S CRAZY!!”

I laughed and watched as Sam ran after him screaming “WAIT WHAT’S YOUR NAME! WHERE ARE YOU FROM! HOW OLD ARE YOU! WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE COLOR! I LIKE UNICORNS!! ARE YOU IN THIS PACK! WHAT PACK ARE YOU FROM! WHY ARE YOU SO TALL! CAN I SEE YOU FACE! YOU HAVE A NICE BUTT!!” I cracked up laughing Tony was sure as hell in for it. Asher appeared with clothes and I quickly shifted and dressed. The doctor walked in and started to look at my leg.

I stayed by my mate as the doctor looked her over she wasn’t badly hurt it was just a scratch nothing a little rest and wolf blood wouldn’t heal he told me. As the doctor left I asked “what happened?” she smiled and said “I went on a run and heard a yelp then I found out Sam was under attack so I reacted.” I smirked she was protecting her pack. She didn’t even realize it was the Luna in her.
