I sat on the porch of the alpha house as Sam sat in my lap. My hand was rubbing her round stomach. Five years have passed since Nathan's death, Ruby and Asher as king and queen alpha. Not to mention they have three packs under their command making them the largest and strongest pack in the world. Ruby survived her pregnancy and gave birth to a strong boy it's funny he basically lives in his wolf form but he has black hair with red streaks like his mother but his eyes are a mix of them both their a golden reddish brown.

His name is...

"MASON!!"

I watched as the bundle of fur ran out of the house on all fours with a hotdog in his mouth. This kids fur was just as rare as his mothers. He had blood red fur on top covering from his ears down to the base of his tail then from red it went black the top of his tail was black to his face just above his nose. His tail bottom, paws, chest and cheeks down were tan. Along with two spots on his face where his eyebrows would be in wolf form.

I watched as Mason ran into the field in front of our house and spun around wagging his tail. Out walked his cousin Angel with an empty hotdog bun. She was the spitting image of her grandma, except her hair was blonde. She was tapping her foot in anger. "give me back my hotdog you brat!" she talked big for only being a few months older than him. He smirked and barked dropping the hot dog on the ground.

I shook my head then heard "Mason what are you doing to your cousin?" I looked seeing Asher walking out of the forest form patrol with Hank. Mason looked at his dad and sat down; he tuned his head looking at his dad. Asher shook his head and then looked at Mason he has his red eyes pouting and Ash chuckled. "I'm not your mother." He stated I laughed as Mason put his head down and Angel hit him with the bun.

"jerk!"

He chuckled then I heard "what's going on here?" I didn't even hear the car pull up. Ruby stood there with groceries along with Gracie and Derek. Mason shifted back and ran to his mother. He hugged her around the waist and said "help your mother ok sweet heart?" he smiled and said "ok momma." Then he ran to the car. Asher walked up to his wife and mate kissing her then he also helped. I got up and turned to Sam. "stay please." She rolled her eyes at me and sat down. I walked to the car as well.

~Mason~

I ran back and forth from the car to the house as mom and aunt Grace unpacked the bags with Angel. I ran to the car again but dad said it was empty. I ran back to mom. I loved my mom she was so cool every one respected her because mom took down a real bad guy before I was born.

Dad sat on the counter and I opened the cabinet door and climbed up sitting by dad. As dad leaned back on his arms I did too I was gonna be exactly like my dad. I was gonna be a strong alpha and find my mate when I got older then I would take care of the pack just like them. I smiled at my dad as he smirked at me. Mom walked over to us when she finished and kissed my forehead like she always does then she kissed my dad.

YUCK!

Did they have to kiss in front of me. I stuck my tongue out and mom messed my hair. Dad got off the counter and helped me down. Then mom said "what have you two been up too since I left?" dad looked at me and said "well the gremlin has been teasing his cousin again." Mom looked at me and I pouted. She smiled and said "nice try. No dessert for a week young man we talked about this."

 I kicked my foot on the ground dang I thought it would work. Dad laughed and said "come on hun a week?" she sighed and said "alright just tonight." I smiled and looked at my papa. He smirked at me and then he looked at mom. "Mason go play." Dad stated I ran out of the room when he says that he's gonna be all mushy with mom. I saw Angel on the porch eating another hot dog so I snuck up behind her. As soon as I was close enough I screamed right behind her.

"AAANNNGGGGEEELLLL!!!!"

She screamed and dropped her hot dog in the mud. "MASON!" she said chasing me down the porch she was fun to tease. I laughed as she ran after me I ran around the house laughing. "can't catch me! Can't catch me!"

Asher had his hand on my hips and m back pushed against the counter as he kissed down my neck. "I think we have a very bright child." I smile and stated "yeah but he can be a pain just like you use to be." He stopped kissing and pulled back asking "what do you mean?" suddenly we heard a chant of "can't catch me! Can't catch me!" I looked out the window and saw Mason running from Angel as she screamed his name.

"you were saying?" I stated looking at my husband. He smirked and kissed me saying "yeah but he'll grow out of it." I smiled and he smirked we walked into the living room knowing our son would be entertained for a good couple hours. I sat in Asher's lap. I looked at the mantel above the fire place seeing a picture of my parents, and another of Jango and Anna. I knew they were happy together.

Last year Jango passed away in a rogue battle. He was with his Anna now, Mason ran through the house screaming "Mad Girl Mad girl. I rolled my eyes as Angel ran in her wolf from which was golden white after her cousin. He shifted and ran out back I was happy for once in my life I was beyond happy. I had everything I ever wanted. A loving family, a sister who loved me, an adoring mate, and a pack that was fantastic.
