~Ruby~

I was pacing the room I needed to save them I had to save Jango he must be in so much pain from losing Anna. I sighed as I looked out the window. Asher was outside helping Derek bring the Black crescent pack to the howler pack. Were had the spare houses all set up Derek ushered Jenna inside she ran into my room and said “I can’t believe your pregnant!” I smiled and said “yeah. Well I am.”

She laughed and sat on the bed. “we have to throw a baby shower.” I glared at her and she smiled. “sorry.” She stated Jenna knew I hated parties where people wasted their money on me. As we sat there and I sighed “just a little party?” she asked I nodded. She wouldn’t give up otherwise.

She squealed and ran out of the room shouting “were having a baby shower!!” Faith and Brook squealed down the hall idiots. “Not until after the war!!” I screamed as they shouted. We walked along the path until Asher walked in. “are you ok?” he asked I smiled at him. we walked in and I saw my papa behind him. He smiled at me and said “so Ruby how do you feel?” dad smiled at me. “tired.” I answered

~Jango~

I was in wolf from racing back to the pack house. As I ran as fast as I could no one knew I was on my way back my pack would be in Ruby’s hands now. I fell to the ground being without food for week’s wasn’t good for my strength. I got back up and ran through the forest I made it into my territory as I fell again. I panted as I lay on my side.

'can you hear me… anyone…'

I waited for a reply as I closed my eyes no answer.

'ANYONE! Please…'

'Jango..'

I smiled as I heard the voice. Anna…

'get up… got to your feet!'

I did as she said and rose to my feet.

'now run. Get moving.'

I slowly walked along the path heading further into the pack territory.

'That’s it baby keep going. You gotta get to Ruby you have to tell her what you know.'

'ok Anna I’m going. Please stay with me.'

I begged, I kept walking until exhaustion caught up to me and I fell to the earth once again. This time my body couldn’t move there was no food in my system. No energy. I laid on the ground trying to catch my breath when I heard a soft whine. I opened my eyes as much as I could which was barely seeing. My vision as going in and out but there before me looked like Anna in her wolf from. She was sitting before me. I watched as she walked into the forest.

'Anna…'

I closed my eyes again but after a few minutes I heard a scruff. I opened my eyes seeing the wolf standing before me with a raccoon in her mouth. She dropped it before me and motioned for me to eat. I didn’t more she pushed it to me once again. I rose to my feet and ate the food before me. The wolf nodded then motioned for get me up. I did as she turned facing one way. I started to walk that way. As I stumbled through the forest I saw the wolf known as my Anna vanish like she was never there.

'Alpha Jango?'

I looked back to ahead of me and saw scouts from Asher’s pack. Two of them went on either side of me.

'don’t worry we got you alpha.'

The leader stated I nodded and they helped me walk along the path heading home. As we walked along the path heading home… home was with Anna.

~Ruby~

I sat at the desk with Asher and the beta’s, I had ordered Trevor Ash and my Gamma to call in reinforcements all the treaties we had with other packs would be put to the test now. We had to gain numbers to beat the wild Nathan was gathering. I had to rescue Jango he needed help now more than ever.

I growled and slammed my fists on the table. “We can’t let this go unpunished he killed a Luna!” I stated Asher and the men all nodded. Jenna was leaning on the wall near us. “it’s a crime to kill a Luna! The law says so! We have a right to denounce his claim as an alpha and take away his Pack.” I stated “we agree but Ruby how are we going to get in? he has rogues all over the place.” Derek stated.

I thought then pulled out the map I had before. “the mine trail.” They all gave me a puzzled look I shook my head “I use to run it what I was a kid. It goes underground and leads just outside a few miles of the territory; it goes three miles outside my house. My house is six miles from the pack house. We can sneak in and take it back the rogues will continue to fight because they aren’t the pack so we will have to fight them as well.” They nodded and Ash looked at the map. “this could work. We can get in under cover we go at night but first we need help and lots of it.”

I sighed this could work suddenly we heard “GET THE DOCTOR!!” suddenly West ran in with Jango leaning on him. the doctor Lana ran in and put him on the couch where he  was taken and treated. “Anna… my Anna.” He kept saying. I closed my eyes as I felt the tears fall. Jango was alive but Anna his soul mate his other half was gone. Which meant he was felling all the pain. He felt his pain not to mention her own. That was like getting rejected but it never stopped. I felt arm wrap around me and held me close. I buried my face into Ash’s chest. “shh it’s ok well help him.”
