~Ruby~

I had my legs covering my stomach to protect my baby as Nathan slashed at my body. West showed up and tackled him as I watched blood coat the floor around me my mind was fuzzy after his first stab the silver was already in my blood stream it paralyzes a wolf. I could barely pull my legs to cover my baby but I managed that. I heard the knife drop then something smash I blinked and saw West out the window blood and glass all over him.

“ASHER!!” he screamed.

West staggered to the doorway once again. He staggered in and I saw Nathan growling. Jango had to hurry or we would never be able to defeat him. I forced my body up when suddenly I heard the sound of a struggle I heard West shouting “NO! NO!” I looked up seeing Asher his eyes were pure red in rage he was in an animal instinct. Nathan grabbed me by my hair and lifted me up off the ground. “move and she dies!” he shouted.

Asher stopped moving and looked at me I looked into his reddish brown eyes he was still animal instinct. I watched as my mate, growled at Nathan then he looked to my stomach. That was the only place not cut, hit or bruised in anyway. His eyes softened knowing that I saved our baby from any injury.

Nathan then pulled me back he dragged me out the back Asher followed growling along with West. I struggled and he said “move and I will purposely hit your stomach.” I let out a growl and he smirked. Asher followed keeping a distance. *BANG!* I felt him let go and Asher jump at him. I hit the ground and West helped me up. I watched as Asher was in rage fighting against Nathan in wolf form.

                “I will purposely hit your stomach.”

Echoed in my head my child he would hurt my child. I growled and shifted charging in tackling Nathan from behind as Asher pinned him by his throat.

'you shall never hurt our baby.'

We growled together. Nathan’s eyes widened and I saw him shiver as he looked at me. I growled then heard “hey Nathan!” I smirked Jango came through. Asher glanced there stood Gracie with her true mate. He was over her shoulder. Her mate uncovered her shoulder where his mark was. I watched as her mate bit down right into her skin marking her.

Nathan howled out in pain. We released him. He no longer was a problem I watched as Nathan’s cringed and thrashed in pain. He can live in the pain all he wants. I watched as he continued to cry out in pain wanting someone to end it but that was the last thing he was going to get.

~Asher~

I smirked as he was in pain he deserved it. After all he put her though he deserved it. I walked up to my mate and licked her wounds. She leaned her head undermine as I licked her.

'I’m alright.'

I licked her shoulder healing her wounds.

'you were so brave. You fought so hard.'

 Nathan rose to his feet and she looked at me. I smirked and she growled I watched as she tackled the weakened alpha down and ripped at his throat. When she was done the ground around him was the same color was her fur. It was over it was finally over. Ruby turned to me and I continued to lick her wounds.

'it’s over now.'

I stated she smiled and I licked her cheek as a kiss.

'yeah I can finally be free of him.'

I smiled and then Gracie walked up to us and said “Ruby..” she began. I watched as Ruby looked at her and she stated “I am so sorry. All this everything was my fault.” Her sister finally came around. I looked and saw Jango panting behind her. “found her at the ridge about six miles away.” He stated.

I smirked and looked at my smart little mate. She planned all of this. She wanted Nathan to get her so she could end his life. She was waiting for Gracie to get here so he would be dead already then she ends his life. I never knew she was that much of a genius.

I had the smartest mate in the world. I watched as Jango fell to his knees and looked to the sky, he smiled and I knew he was thinking of his mate how they finally avenged her how it was over. I shifted back and Ruby did as well I helped her stand up. “you planned all of this?” I asked she smiled and said “of course.”

I saw the rogues from earlier jog over and say “it’s done?” she nodded and said “thanks for your help Oliver.” He nodded then Jango shook his hand saying “thank you so much.” He nodded and then I watched as Ruby asked “where are you going to go now?”

He smirked and said “don’t know but I’m sorry for all the trouble.” She smiled and said “you were a great help Oliver you were no trouble.” He smirked and said “and you are a wise alpha. I’m glad to have met you in my life time.” I smirked this rogue was a great man.

Ruby smiled and said “have a nice life Oliver.” He nodded then shifted into a pure black wolf. He ran off into the forest and Ruby said “let’s go get the others.” I put my arm around her waist and Gracie walked up to her. “Ruby…” she silenced her and pulled her into a hug.

“thanks for coming sis.” Gracie had tears in her eyes as she hugged her back. “I was so stupid.” She stated Ruby smiled and said “it’s ok I understand.” I smiled and let her go. “Gracie..” she smiled but then Gracie cut her off saying “Ruby.. I want you to meet. Gemma.” I watched as her mate walked over to a tree and turned around with a small infant wrapped in a bundle. Ruby smiled and said “she’s so cute.”
