come home please

Ruby was gone now for three months apparently her phone doesn’t get service wherever she is. Jango spread word to most all alpha’s to send her home but only two alpha’s didn’t get the message one being her Ex-mate, the other Alpha Dakua. I don’t think she would go anywhere near her ex-mate so I was going to Alpha Dakua after my mate. I was waiting for the plane to land as soon as it touched ground I was planning on racing to the pack house. We started to descend when the person next to me asked “why are you going to Italy?” I sighed and said “I’m going after my girlfriend.” He nodded and said “must really love her to be chasing her around the world.” I nodded and said “you have no idea.” The plan landed and I grabbed my carryon bag and raced off the plane.

I sat at the counter so far I went to every alpha except for my ex-mates territory. I wanted to find my second mate but was it so bad to actually want to be with someone for the rest of my life? Would I be alone till I died were second mates even out there? Asher said they were real but I was still having my doubts. Did I have one?

~Asher~

I wasn’t letting her go not without a fight. I waited twenty years for my mate I was just trying to give her time but apparently I gave her too much time. I ran off the plane and out of the airport. I was out of the airport within seconds and hailed a taxi. I got in and said “Dakua house hold. On east Europa.” As the taxi moved. I looked at the streets any woman with black hair I was checking for red streaks. The guy parked in front of the pack house and I got out. I ran to the door and knocked. Come on… come on…. The door opened and Luna Alessia stood there. “evening alpha Hoss.” She greeted I nodded and heard “Asher?” I looked behind Alessia and saw my angel standing in the kitchen. She looked as breathtaking as I remembered. She walked up to me and asked “what are…”

Before those words left her mouth I pulled her into my arms. “don’t ever scare me like that again.” I whispered and held her close. “scare you?” she asked I pulled away from her and looked into those golden eyes I felt at home once again. Thank god.

As Asher looking into my eyes I smiled back he looked so happy to be here right now. “Rubino tesoro Penso che si potrebbe avere lasciato il tuo secondo ufficiale a casa ... Asher è il tuo compagno.” Alessa stated in Italian… I froze I leaned Italian being here for so long. What she just said was (Ruby honey I think you might have left your second mate back home... Asher is your mate.) Asher looked at me then asked “what did she say?” I blushed and said “she said she thinks your my second mate.” Asher looked at me and said “she’s right.” My eyes widened. “are you ok?” he asked I looked at him and nodded. “why didn’t you tell me?” I asked he smirked and said “you weren’t into having a mate. So I let you do as you pleased I just wanted you to be happy.” I shoved his shoulders and said “why did you ignore me!”

He looked to the ground. “no not exactly I was giving you time I didn’t think you would want to be my mate just yet so I decided to let you have time. I didn’t think you were going to leave!” I took his hand and pulled him up to my room where I was staying. I sat on my bed and said “so you wanted me to get use to the idea?” he nodded and said “I’m Sorry I didn’t tell you sooner.” He sat by me and said “I’m sorry.” I smiled at him and said “don’t be I’m glad you did that.” He smirked and looked at me. “I knew what happened to you but I didn’t want to pressure you into another mating I never wanted to hurt you.” I smiled t him. then took his hand. “is it ok if we go slow?” he nodded and said “of course I just wanted to make you happy.” I kissed his cheek maybe the moon goddess got my pick right on the second one. Asher then said “are you going to go back now?” I smiled at him and nodded. “yeah.”

He smiled and asked “when do you want to fly back?” I shrugged and said “I don’t know. Tomorrow or whenever.” He chuckled and then yawned I pushed him down onto the bed. “your probably jet legged so get some rest.” He nodded and closed his eyes going to sleep. I still couldn’t believe my mate was Asher but that explained why Nathan hated him so much. Nathan was always possessive. No matter what. I walked down stairs to see Alessa talking with Dakua. “so Asher hugh?” he stated, I blushed and nodded. “he’s a good man.” Dakua said I was like his youngest daughter when I first arrives. He liked how fun going I was but he really wanted me to find my mate.

“I think do too. He’s sleeping right now.” Alessa giggled and Dakua stated “no he’s not.” I turned seeing Asher standing at the stairs.  I sighed and Alpha Dakua stated “go lay with him Ruby he won’t sleep until he knows your with him your still an unmated female.” I nodded and took his hand leading him to my room once again. I was a bit tired. I laid on my bed and Asher laid behind me putting his arms around me. As he did so I felt all the tension in his body just relax then he buried his face into the back of my neck saying “I won’t mark you until you want me to.” I nodded and turned facing him. I tucked my head under his chin. He pulled me closer but not so close that I wouldn’t be able to breath. I looked up at him seeing he was fast asleep he looked peaceful. I watched as he slept soundly I went to get up when he stopped me by his arms. They were locked around me. I smiled and laid back down and closed my own eyes. Asher Hoss…. My mate… the man who would love me no matter what. I should be happy… why did I feel like this would only cause problems?

I woke up holding my mate. She wasn’t happy or upset I could sense it she was worried. Maybe she didn’t want a mate after all. I wouldn’t pressure her unto anything I wouldn’t reject her for the world. She was the prefect mate. I waited twenty years for her what was a few weeks or a few months more. I wanted her to be happy that’s all I ever wanted. I sat up and let her go she looked troubled in her sleep. I tucked some hair behind her ear and she turned. “Ruby…” I whispered she opened her eyes.
