Asher's room

~Ruby~

The plan landed at a small airport and we got out. I walked off and went towards the baggage area. As I did so I saw a group of people holdup a sign that read ‘welcome home New couple.’ Asher put a hand on my waist and the people ran over well first to reach me was a girl about my age maybe a year younger with long blonde hair and reddish brown eyes. “so your our new Luna.” She circled me like a vulture. I watched then looked at Asher he shook his head. Then she stopped in front of me and said “your way to pretty for my brother.”

I let out a laugh as she hugged me, I smiled and said “I’m Ruby.” Her smile brightened and she said “even her name is pretty Asher you gotta be lying. There is no way a pretty girl can be your mate, I mean your ugly.” He swung at her and she ducked running behind a large man he was much older than us. Asher put his arm back around my waist and said “Ruby that thing you just say is my little sister Samantha. The giant she’s hiding behind is my dad Skylar Hoss, and the mouse next to him is my mother Dawn Hoss.”

I smiled and Skylar pulled me into a hug, his hug was hard and definitely said he was an alpha, along with the fact he was nice guy but rough around the edges. He smiled saying “we’ve waited a long time for my son to find his mate!” the woman hugged me next her hug was like a mothers warm and embracing “yes but we never thought she would be so pretty!” Sam shouted behind her father. I smiled as Asher shouted “I hope your mate looks like a pig!” She stepped out behind her dad and gasped “he will not be a pig!” Derek laughed and bowed to Skylar. “Mr. Skylar I would like for you to meet Jenna my mate.” he looked at Jenna she looked intimidated. So I took her hand and she went right next to me. Jenna didn’t like to be alone when she was scared I knew that.

Skylar and Dawn looked at me with a smile. Dawn reached her hand out to Jenna, I nudged her shoulder and she took it. They shook hands and Dawn smiled saying “welcome to our pack.” I smiled at her. Jenna let out a sigh then Asher said “Jenna after you get settled I would like to see you and Derek in my office.” She nodded. Skylar picked up all the bags, what was he macho man? Asher took my hand and Jenna went over to Derek again. He kissed her forehead and followed us. We got into the cars and headed to my new home.

We pulled up to the house and I saw a large pack house like a mansion, I smiled as Asher whispered “welcome home.” I leaned on his shoulder and we got out of the car. Asher got our bags as Derek got his. “you four must be tired.” Dawn stated then Skylar walked around the car saying “go get settled and rest, we’ll wake you for dinner.” Sam whined and said “but I wanted to spend time with my new sister!!!” Dawn patted her shoulder saying “you have all your life for that!” she sighed and nodded. Asher led me into the house and up the stairs. We reached the top floor and he walked to the end of the hall he opened the large oak doors and I gasped it looked like a large house itself.

Well except for there was no kitchen. I walked into the room and Asher leaned on the wall watching me. We were standing what looked like a large living room, there was a fire place, a large screen tv that covered the wall, two leather couches, and I think that is a bartenders bar, the room screamed man cave. I turned to Asher. “you live in your room or something?” he smirked and walked over. “not done yet.” I sighed and shook my head. He led me to the two other doors and he opened them. I walked over and saw a spiral stair case leading down. I walked down them and stopped half way. I saw a large bed that covered the floor. Next to the giant bed were balcony doors.

I turned to Asher. “did I mate a prince of something? And your not telling me.” He chuckled and said “no were just rich wolves like all the others.” I rolled my eyes and he led me down the stairs. We reached the floor and he motioned for me to follow. He opened another door and it was a master bathroom. I shook my head and he shut that door and opened the one next to it where it was a like giant walk in closet with two giant dressers. I feel like I walked into a dresser. The two dressers were flat topped and square in the center of the room. There were drawers on opposite sides. “I had these brought in for anything you would want to put in a dresser.”

Asher stated he smiled and put our bags down. “we can unpack later. Let’s get some rest.” I nodded and he took my hand leading me to the floor bed. It wasn’t really on the floor but it covered it so you couldn’t even seen it. “what size bed is this?” I asked he smirked and said “two queens pushed together.” I shook my head and he pulled me onto it. I laid down and melted this bed was sooo comfy. I closed my eyes then felt his arms wrap around me. I turned and laid my head on his chest. “night.” he whispered. “goodnight.” I replied and closed my eyes once again.

I was pretty much a man’s man before I met Ruby and well my room screamed that. It was funny seeing her reaction. I cuddled into my mate and relaxed. She was safe now, she was home. I would do anything to keep her here but sadly it wasn’t my choice she Jango stepped down from his position she would take over. Jango has a very large pack and mines is no better. People argue on which one is bigger but they won’t be able to argue anymore. The packs will merge under my and Ruby’s rule and that will be the largest pack ever. I just hope we can handle it but with Ruby I know we will.
