~Asher~

I arrived at the Jango’s pack house or should I say my mates early in the morning. She didn’t know I was coming and she didn’t know I knew she was pregnant. Hank opened the door and I walked in he took a bag and I put a hand on his shoulder. “thanks.” He nodded and stated “she doesn’t know you know still. She doesn’t even know you here.” I nodded and walked up the stairs to our old room. As I walked in I saw Ruby on her side fast asleep with her hair tussled about her pillow. She looked so beautiful and this angel was carrying my pup.

I couldn’t help but smile at that thought yeah she was young but shifters always have a child young. That way you can raise the child and teach him right from wrong early in life. I put my bag by the door and Hank did the same with my other. He shut the door softly behind him and I walked over to my sleeping angel. I pulled the blanket back a bit then crawled into the bed next to her. As I put my arm around her waist she turned over in her sleep and pressed her face against my chest snuggling into me I smiled and closed my eyes as well. I missed her so much.

~Ruby~

I woke with a yawn and opened my eyes seeing a chiseled chest before me. I looked up at the face and smiled. “Asher…” I whispered and hugged him as I rested my head on his chest. He groaned and rested his head on top of mine. I smiled and sighed. Then the thought hit me.

Why was he here? I pulled away and sat up looking at him. Ash yawned and looked at me. “morning.” He yawned scratching his head. I smiled and said “morning.” He looked around then I asked “Ash what are you doing here?” he looked at me and said “hold on. He got up and put a chair on the floor between us then he sat on it with the back part against his chest. “ok. First answer me this.

“how long were you going to keep it a secret?” I raised a brow did he know? How could he? “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” I stated. He smirked and looked at my stomach. “really?” I blushed and he said “I know Ruby… I know.” My blush darkened and I scratched the back of my neck.

“I um…” I was tripping on my words. He smirked and said “Hank called me after you started yelling at him.” HANK!!! I was going to kill him. Asher then said “don’t hurt the guy he was just doing what was best for both of us. Ruby why wouldn’t you tell me?” he asked. “Asher I’m not ready.”

He tilted his head to the side. “Ruby you’re one of the best Luna’s I’ve ever seen and that title includes instinct. You’ll be fine as a mother and I will make sure to help you out the whole way.” He was so sweet. “I’m not ready.” I shook my head no thinking about my own mother. He got off the chair and pulled me close against him.

“Asher I’m not ready at all.” He held me close against him “It’s alright. Everything will be ok.” I hugged my mate. oh god help me. “it’s going to be alright. I’m here to help no matter what.” I smiled hearing that. He is so sweet, I kissed him and he asked “so have you seen a doctor?” I nodded “she said I’m a month along. I’ll start showing a bit through the next two months.” He kissed my forehead.

As we sat there cuddled into each other’s arms I felt his hands touch my belly. “I can’t believe I’m gonna be a dad.” He stated I smiled and said “how do you think I feel?” he chuckled and I said “I haven’t puked in a while but the doctor says that last the first month with shifters.” He nodded and I laid on the bed. “but I will feel tired a lot.” He smirked and laid behind me putting his arm around my waist and rubbing my stomach.

~Faith~

I was walking down the hall when a really tall and hot guy walked out of a room he looked down at me then raised a brow. “what are you doing here human?” he asked he was serious. “ok first off saying human give away what you are and second I’m Ruby’s baby helper.” Ruby opened her door and said “oh right. Asher you remember Faith right?” he looked at her and then said “I think so?” I turned to Ruby and said “Rubes I have never seen this hottie before I would remember.” She smiled and said “Faith this is Asher my mate.”

I nodded and said “lucky.” She giggled and Asher stated “so you know about us now?” I nodded and said “yep.” He smirked and then I led the way to the kitchen. As we walked down I handed Ruby her drink of the day vitamin drink for her and the growing baby. “Faith here is the one who forced to me take the stupid pregnancy test.” Ruby stated as she sipped at her water. “yep and if it wasn’t for me you would be up the stuck without a paddle up the river.” She rolled her eyes yeah I say weird things. Brook walked in asking “hey Prego’s awake.” Ruby rolled her eyes as Asher put his arms around Ruby’s waist. They were so cute.

I watched as Asher kissed her shoulder then looked at Brook. “where’s you mate?” Ruby asked. Then we heard “over here.” We saw a hand stick out from behind the door way on the other side of the room. “your ok Hank come in.” he peeked in and said “you’re not mad?” she shook her head no. “you were right to do what you did.” He sighed and walked in he was such a chicken. As Ruby finished her drink I gave her a sandwich. “yeah um Faith is like my own personal doctor and she apparently calls baby sitting.” I smiled and said “what I like babies there cute.” Asher laughed at me and shook his head. Hey I worked in daycares since I was fifteen.

“besides I think you and Ruby will want to get away from the parent life anyways.” He nodded and said “want to move into our house?” I nodded “definitely!” he laughed and Ruby said “she’s going to be stealing our baby every day now.” I nodded “yep.” I stated he smirked and she finished her sandwich. “good all done for breakfast. You’re going to have the strongest wolf baby ever!” Ruby shook her head saying “your nuts.” I shrugged and got up saying “tell me something I don’t know.”
