I walked into the house water dripping from my body as three guys walked by laughing at me. My so called pack brothers held me down as Hank and Jango hosed me down. God I hate hoses. Anna was trying to hold in her laugh and I looked at her. Great. Derek Asher’s Beta smirked and shook his head. I sighed and asked “can I come in now?” she shook her head no. “dry off first.” I groaned and Brook through me a towel. I started dry myself off I hate them… I hate them all. “what happened to you?” I heard Ruby ask.

Asher was right behind her with his arms around her waist. I glared and said “I went to get your dirtiness off me and well I got hosed for it.” Asher burst out laughing at me. Ruby was biting her bottom lip trying not to laugh at me. At least she was more caring. “sorry Tony.” She stated I nodded and finished drying off I walked into the house and said “I’m going to bed.” Ruby smiled at me and I walked away. At least I wouldn’t hear those two again.

~Brook~

I looked at the two love birds besides me and Hank. Asher really love my best friend. He was looking at her with such adoration it was heart melting. You could see it in his eyes that he would lay his life down on the ground for her. He would do anything to make her happy and I was proud that he was that much in love with Ruby. I looked at them and Hank wrapped me in his arms. “ready to get married?” I nodded and leaned my head on his shoulder. Next weekend and I would be Mrs. Greystone. I couldn’t be happier. It was the best thing happening to me. Not to mention Ruby was closer than ever as friends she always pulled away at first from me but now that I knew their secret it was ok. I understood why she did it. She wanted to protect me since I was human.

I turned to Anna who was in Jango’s arms Derek was leaning on the wall watching the couples he looked jealous… I felt bad for the wolves who aren’t mated.  Guess his mate was just hard to find. Asher then asked “Brook whose coming to the wedding?” I looked up and said “all my friends.” Ruby tilted her head to the side and asked “Faith too?” I nodded and said “Of course.” She smiled and said “then we have to be on behavior.” Jango looked to the guys and said “everyone got that?” they all nodded. The wedding was near the beach.

Not the one Ruby showed us but just as beautiful. The priest would face away from the beach. I sighed and looked at every one around us. The wedding would be beautiful and with Ruby’s help it will be. I smiled as I saw Ruby kissing Asher. They really did love each other. I just hoped Nathan would finally leave Ruby alone no more chasing her or anything just let her go but from what Ruby told me about him he won’t. Asher took Ruby’s hand and pulled her up the stairs again. I smirked and watched as they ran off giggling. “I’m glad she’s happy.” Anna stated I nodded and Jango added “yeah she deserves to be happy.” He turned to me and asked “Brook have you invited anyone from her old pack?” I nodded and said “yeah two people Jenna and Carter, there siblings.”  

~Gracie~

I sat in my room as the baby kicked. This baby was my true mates child he couldn’t mark me because of Nathan this was all my fault I was so jealous of my step sister getting all the attention that I didn’t see her mate was a monster that I am now stuck with. My mate Daniel was a kind man he was disgusted with me when I told him everything but when I told him about how Nathan really was he took me away. Nathan has yet to find out that I am no longer in his territory and I am Rogue with my mate and his child. As long as Daniel doesn’t mark me Nathan will never know. I felt all my sorry for my sister I put her through hell. I was such a fool. Now I was without a family. Without any one but my mate and our child growing in my belly. I had a plan I kept calling Ruby’s cell phone praying she would pick up.

“hello?” Came Tony’s voice. “Tony?” I asked a growl then the line went dead. Please please. I tried again. “what do you want Gracie!” Tony barked at the phone. “please just listen!” I begged “NO! YOU LISTEN! RUBY WAS BROKEN BECAUSE OF YOU!” he slammed the phone down once again. Oh god they wouldn’t hear me out. Tears ran down my face as Daniel walked in. “Gracie what happened?” he asked “I tried to warn my step sister but they wouldn’t listen.” He comforted me saying “don’t worry your sister is strong she will get through this. You have to take care of yourself now and our baby.” I nodded and he laid me down. “get some rest.” I prayed one day Ruby could forgive me and my selfish ways.

Tears streamed down my face we were being forces to bring the alpha along so he would hurt my best friend. Ruby never deserved him. I was there when he rejected her so heartlessly. Carter was on the alpha’s side and he took my cell, the phone everything that I could be able to warn someone with away. I was in my room sobbing as I knew this was going to hurt Ruby so much. I wanted to leave this pack I wanted to protect my friend. This was stupid Nathan was unhappy so he had to make his whole pack unhappy so he would take away another Alpha’s mate. he was going to tear so many things apart just to get what he wanted.

I hated it here ever since Ruby left Nathan changed into a monster. He wasn’t the hot Alpha we knew he was harsh cruel, he even went as far as making a law that any female in his pack that finds their mates have to sleep with him first so any child would be strong and alpha blood. He was obsessed with strength. I just wanted out and I planned on getting it at the wedding I would beg any alpha to take me away. I didn’t care which one it was. I just wanted out any pack would be better than this one. Ruby was lucky to get out when she did. Gracie has been missing for a few days now but Nathan was so obsessed with his revenge to notice his own marked pregnant mate was gone.
