~Ruby~

I looked at the beautiful baby Gracie’s mate held. She had deep brown eyes and blonde curly hair. I watched as she smiled at me then Gracie stated “I will be able to show how sorry I am for what happened.” I smiled and said “Gracie you were young you didn’t know it’s alright.”

She smiled and hugged me again. Then Asher stated “whoa easy their don’t squish the stomach.” I laughed as Gracie backed up and asked “what?” then she looked at my slightly round belly. “Oh my gosh! Your pregnant.” I nodded and Asher led me along the path to the beach.

As we walked along the path Asher asked “how long have you been fighting them?” I smiled and said “since they showed up.” He smirked and we reached the beach where all the females and children were they ran up to me and thanked me. I was tired I didn’t rest at all during each fight I took.

I needed rest now. The pack was safe. Asher picked me up sensing my exhaustion and carried me to a lawn chair. As I laid there Gracie’s mate walked over saying “Daniel.” I shook his hand and he said “thank you for understanding.” I nodded and he walked away giving me space. Ash held my hand as he kissed my knuckles.

~Nathan~

I was surrounded in darkness. Nothingness where the hell was I! I spun in circles searching for any light there was none. The last thing I remembered was that bitch and her sister. How did I get here? Suddenly I heard a voice echoing in the dark “evil shall not be undone with death, what was born shall be punished.”

I growled out “Who are you!!” suddenly flames erupted around me. My growl died out as I saw a figure in the distance it looked like a woman walking away. She didn’t turn around she didn’t look back at me. “WHO ARE YOU!!” she stopped walking and said one thing I will never forget after her words arms came from the flames and pulled me away with them.

“I forgive you my son.”

~Anna~

The battle was over. I could move on now. I looked to my beloved mate as he looked at the sky. I would miss him dearly but when he passes we will be together once again. I know that is true. As I looked at my loving and caring mate I turned my gaze to Ruby my brave, brave Ruby. She’s been through so much yet she fought with her all to gain what she has now. I smiled at her and Asher. Then I felt a hand on my shoulder. I felt a presence behind me then I heard the soft words of the gentlest voice.

“it is time to go now my daughter.”

I let out a sigh and I looked at my mate one last time. “can I at least say goodbye.” A soft giggle “it’s not goodbye. You will see him again.” I nodded then she let go of my shoulder. I went to my mate and touched his shoulder I smiled as a soft grin came to his face. “I have to go now Jango. But we will meet again… I’ll wait for you as long as you want be happy here.” He nodded slightly letting me know he heard me then he thoughts reached me.

'I love you Anna my angel. I always will.'

A single tear ran from my eyes and I let go. I was back to the place I stood before watching all of them hug their mates and enjoy their company, I sighed and then the voice said once again.

“come now.”

As I rose to the clouds with this gentle being beside me I asked “will he be happy?” she didn’t answer. As went through the clouds and she showed me to a pair of golden gates. “if he chooses to be happy then he will be.” She stated as I went through the gates into the bliss I would stay in for eternity.

~West~

I saw Faith looking at her gun pouting. “are you ok?” she looked up at me and said “I ran out of bullets.” I shook my head god she was nuts. I chuckled and she said “it’s not funny! I wanted to shook Nathan in the head!” I laughed and fell on my butt this time. She was nuts my mate was a funny nut ball. She tackled me to the sand and said “it’s not funny!!” I just kept laughing at her. She was hilarious.

I kept laughing until she kissed me to shut me up. I kissed back and she pulled back as if she couldn’t believe what she just did. “um ugh sorry!” she said and went to get up I flipped us over and said “don’t be.” Then I kissed her again. She kissed me back and we tumbled in the sand.

~Kyle~

I watched as my brother tumbled in the sand with his mate. I held Meghan against my chest as we watched them then she signed to me .they. make. a. cute. couple. I nodded and she smiled at me. We kissed and I saw movement in the corner of my eyes there was Tony with Samantha on his shoulders running around the beach. I smirked then looked to the alpha’s Ruby’s wounds were being treated as Asher rubbed her stomach and kissed her hand.

Things would be better now. All we had to do now was wait for the young alpha to be born and pray that Ruby would make it through the pregnancy. She was half human, most of them are barren like the late Luna Loca. I watched as Ruby smiled at her mate and our alpha.

She was strong I had no doubt she would fight through the pregnancy as well. We had a great alpha pair. I watched as the other alpha’s bowed to Ruby for saving their women they shook Asher’s hands then they left. The war was over but I smirked seeing what the others didn’t that bow wasn’t out of respect but loyalty without being elected Ruby was the queen of shifters. She was the ultimate luna. One that could not be stopped by evil.
