~Tony~

I sat in my room shaking my head my mate was legit nuts but so cute. She was at my door right now pounding away “open up hot butt!!” I smiled and slowly walked over to the door. Hopefully she wasn’t always this nuts. As soon as I opened my doors I went to say something but she jumped into my arms and kissed me. I kissed back not even caring. As soon as our lips parted she blabbered on. “what’s your name? where are you from? Why are you so tall? Are you gonna reject me? I hope not cause you cute! My name’s Sam I’m seventeen I like running! I have go to…” I couldn’t get a word in so I slammed my lips on her shutting her up.

“sheesh you talk a lot.” I stated she blushed and I said “calm down one and two can you get off me?” she got down and put her hands in front of her like a little school girl dam so cute. “my name’s Anthony but most people call me Tony, I’m eighteen. I’m from the Howler pack and I don’t know why I’m tall why are you short?” she smiled at me and sat on my bed. “so are you going to reject me?”

she asked I smirked and sat by her “now why would I do that?” she squealed and tackled me to the bed. I laughed and she hugged me saying “I’m so glad I have a mate!” I smirked. This wasn’t as bad as I thought. Sam got up saying “ok I need to get some food.” I got up saying “what do you want I’ll get it.” She smiled at me and said “um… a cold cut sand which?” I nodded and walked down stairs.

~Ruby~

We were in the kitchen eating lunch when Tony walked in and took out a tray, he poured a glass of orange juice, and made a cold cut sandwich. He then carried the tray out. “what did he say about not bring whipped?” I asked. Asher chuckled and stated “he’s already whipped once he finds his mate but you don’t get me to bring you stuff.” I smiled and Asher got up saying “what do you think he’ll say when I tell him he’s whipped?” I shrugged and stated “he’ll probably deny it.” He smirked and we walked into the living room.

As I sat on the couch Sam and Tony came down stairs. Sam had the tray and said “I didn’t say to bring me everything in the kitchen just a sandwich.” Tony scratched the back of his neck and said “sorry I thought you would like it.” I smirked as Tony sat down and Sam sat in his lap. I smirked as Sam started to play with Tony’s hair. He was whipped already. “so Tony what was that about not being whipped?”

Ash asked. He glared at him and said “shut it ASher .” His arms wrapped around Sam’s waist. I smiled and Sam asked “what are they talking about Tony?” he gulped and I stated “well my cousin kept saying he was never gonna get whipped by his mate.” she crossed her arms saying “it’s not being whipped it’s become the perfect mate.” he shrugged and said “I ugh… I” I smiled and Sam got up saying “I’m going for a walk.” She turned leaving and Tony glared at us “really guys!” he got up and ran after Sam. “Sam wait!! I was naive! I didn’t know!!!”

I smiled and Asher stated “he’s done for.” I laughed and leaned back against Asher. As we relaxed a scout ran in shouting “Rogues!” we bot ran outside seeing a rogue with a female shifter along with most of the mates from my old pack. They all looked beaten the rogue looked the most capable of still fighting. “who are you!” Asher growled pulling me behind him on reflex. “Asher.” He looked at me and I stepped forward saying “Heather...” the woman by the rogue looked at me with tears in her eyes she ran forward and hugged me saying “Beta.. Ruby… it’s awful...” I was still known as the beta to this pack. Heather has dirty blonde hair and green eyes.

She sobbed on my shoulder as I comforted her. I looked at the rogue wolf and asked “who are you?” he looked up at me and said “Adam.” I raised a brow and Heather spoke saying “he is my mate. He rescued me and the others.” I nodded and he smiled at me with hope. I smirked and looked to Asher. He didn’t look like he trusted this at all.

~Asher~

I stood before my mate and looked at this rogue, if he thought I trusted him he had another thing coming. Ruby looked to me and I watched as she seemed to understand what I was thinking. She looked at the rogue and asked “why are you here?” the rogue looked up saying “West said to come here.” Derek stepped forward and asked “West? Why would he tell you that?” as the rogue explained where he ran from with these wolves I gave the order. “Keep them under watch and get them a place under guard.” My men nodded and we walked back into the house.

I pulled Ruby with me and I stated “I can’t trust him.” she nodded and stated “I don’t expect you to. He is a rogue it would be foolish to trust a rogue right away but he can tell us what Nathan is up to. We can get inside information.” I smirked she was very smart. She continued to amaze me, as I sat on the couch she sat facing me in my lap. I smiled at my mate. My mate I just loved saying that. Ruby started to kiss my lips lightly then it got more heated. I placed my hands on her hips as we kissed. I heard people walking in but I didn’t care at the moment. I had everything I needed right in front of me. As I kissed my mate I heard someone clear their throat.

“can you two take a breath?” we stopped our kiss and looked up seeing my father with his arms crossed. “the guards are at the house watching the pack now.” Dad glanced at Ruby most Luna’s want peace only so they don’t believe in war but Ruby was different. I smiled and dad asked “are you alright with this?” she smiled and said “it’s fine. I wouldn’t trust a rogue either but if he doesn’t do anything and give us good info then maybe we can start to trust him.” she looked at me with that last statement. I shrugged and said “alright.”
