It’s been a week now and Ruby is out of the Heat, Asher walked into the kitchen with a huge smile on his face. God he was whipped. I shook my head today was the day Ruby was going to Asher’s pack. She would be leaving for so long until she was used to it then when Jango stepped down and she became our alpha she would combine the pack houses. I sighed I didn’t want her to be so far away. I mean Jango rules over the second largest pack in the world. She would need me to help her out. Asher sat down at the table and ate some cereal. Not to mention Nathan was still out there. Even if they are mated he can still kill Asher and hurt Ruby even more.

Asher ate with that grin. It always said I’m the happiest guy in the world and I just did my woman. Which I hated to read off of him it was my cousin for gods sake. Anna giggled and then Jango cleared his throat and said “Asher I would feel a lot safer if you took one of our wolves with you for extra protection. Just to make sure your safe.” He nodded his smile leaving his face. “who would you choose?” he asked. “Tony. He his Ruby’s cousin and he helped her through a lot. I think he would be the best choice.” Jenna walked in with Derek right behind her.

Jenna leaned on the door frame as Derek put his hands on the top of the door frame and leaned. He is a big guy. “so Tony’s coming along too hugh?” she stated I rolled my eyes and stated “can’t I go after them or something cause I don’t want to be stuck with two whipped guys sucking their girls faces off.” Both males rolled their eyes and I smiled. Yeah I’m never being a whipped ass like them I’d tell my mate what to do not the other way around. “fine follow two days Later got it?” Jango stated I nodded.

~Asher~

Ruby was going to meet my pack. I know they will like her. There is no doubt in my mind about that. I just can’t wait to get home and show her my territory well the local area anyway. It would take forever to get the whole territory to show her. I looked at the stairs as I caught her scent. She walked down with wet hair she took a shower after our morning. She smiled and sat in my lap taking a spoonful of my cereal. I didn’t care. I was just happy with her. I placed my hands on her hips and kissed along her back.

I touched my mark and she let out a surprised moan. I smirked and she looked at me over her shoulder. She smiled and turned giving me a quick kiss. Jenna walked over and asked “are the lovers still on their honey moon?” Ruby nodded and said “yeah there gonna be gone for a month.” She smiled and said “lucky girl.” Derek gave a short growl and Jenna giggled saying “not because of Hank you dummy because she gets a month alone with her mate.” he smirked and walked up to her wrapping an arm around her waist.

“well when we get married I’ll give you two months.” She smiled and kissed him. Tony made a gagging noise. He was gonna be whipped when he found his mate and depending on the girl was how whipped he would be. Like for instance Ruby was an easy going girl so I wasn’t as whipped as most alpha’s now take Anna Jango’s mate. Jango was a pervert and a player before he met her when he did he did a 180 and became her perfect man. Males change into whatever the woman want so they can please her even if we don’t notice it.

We walked outside and I got into the car Jango was driving us the airport. I can’t believe Tony is going to go too. As we reached the airport I hugged Anna and Jango. “thank you so much.” I stated they smiled and Jango said “don’t forget alpha you still have my pack to take care of.” I nodded and Anna had tears. “you come visit us.” I smiled and hugged her again then I turned to my real parents. Mom was in tears already but her tears were joy. Dad was talking with Asher probably to take care of me. After hugging them we got onto the plane.

I sat down and Asher joined me. Derek and Jenna were next to us in the other isle. “can’t believe were finally going home.” Derek stated I smiled and Asher said “yeah back to paper work.” I giggled and he took my hand. “it’s a long flight baby get some rest.” I nodded and leaned on his shoulder closing my eyes.

I laid on my bed panting from the pain I was out for a week and three days. That bitch was marked by that man! I growled and my whole body shook. She would pay they would all pay I knew I didn’t have enough forces to beat both packs now but I knew what did. “CARTER!!” I shouted he walked in and bowed. “sir?” he asked “Were getting some new friends. Get the scouts to bring every rogue they can find alive!” he nodded and bowed walking out. They wanted a war they got one. I would use everything in my power to kill Asher Hoss and take back Ruby.

Nothing would keep me from what I wanted. Nothing. Gracie ran off I realized when I returned why bother looking for a used mate when I had a rare one in front of my eyes. I would take Ruby and get her back then Jenna the traitor would pay for her betrayal by watching me killed her beloved new mate. Then I would take all the loyal ones to Asher and have them killed. I smirked liking my plan already. I would pay the rogues to do the work for me. I would become the most powerful alpha there ever was I will be king of the shifters! KING!
