My face was red. This can't be happening. We did not cuddle! We couldn't have cuddled! It's all in my head! Yep, it's all in my head. This didn't happen. I was panicking when Heizou's voice interrupted my thoughts.

'Ow, Princess! You didn't have to kick me off the bed.' he grumbled, rubbing his sore back.

Heizou's POV

'I THOUGHT YOU SAID YOU'D STAY ON YOUR SIDE!' she screeched, covering herself with the blanket again.

We didn't fuck! Please, girl, nothing happened. Stop covering yourself with the blanket.

'I DID!' I yelled back, blushing

'THEN WHY WERE WE CUDDLING!?' she yelled.

'I DON'T KNOW,' I yelled back.

'Now, looking back, sleeping on the floor with the cockroaches sounds way better than this!'

'OW!' I said, hurt

'Whatever. W-we should focus on the case. We can go to the room today, so yeah...l-let's do that,' she responded.

I nodded

'So we're not going to talk about it?' I asked

'Yep! We're not talking about it 'cause it never happened!'

I stared at her

'It didn't happen!' she said sternly

I raised my hands in mock surrender

'Ok, ok, Princess! No need to be violent or mean this early in the morning.' I said, 'You already kicked me earlier and really hard too!'

'Serves you right for doing things!'

'C'mon (Y/n), we just cuddled! It's not like we f-.'

'Finish that sentence, and then I'll make sure u never have kids.'

'WHOA THERE, PRINCESS! MEAN MUCH!?' I said, subconsciously covering the area

'Ok, sorry that was a bit harsh but don't talk about that stuff this early in the morning, please!'

'Fine, fine.' I said, 'You seem quite restless. Is something wrong?'

'Nothing is wrong! Everything is fine, don't worry.'

Again with the lies and defensiveness. I need to find out more as soon as possible.

Kazuha's POV

Working with Yuki has been wonderful. I don't think anyone besides (Y/n) has managed to make me smile this much. She's so sweet.

'Good morning.' I heard her voice

'Oh, good morning,' I said, smiling. 'Ready to work?'

She nodded. I decided to make some small talk while we worked

'So what's your life been like ever since moving here?'

'Well, Inazuma is so different from where I grew up. I'm just glad I came here.'

'Oh, where did you live before?'

'Ah, Sumeru.' she said nervously

'Oh, was it nice?'

'Uh, not exactly. Back when I was growing up, I never had many friends since I was shy...and so I got picked on a lot, but when I moved here, I met Itto and Gorou, and they were really nice to me.'

'Oh, that sucks...the being bullied part. Honestly, if my best friend (Y/n) grew up with you...your bullies would never pick on you. She was a fighter, alright. She'd get into fights all the time defending everyone, and then my big brother would lecture her after that since he got her out of the fights.'
