Finding Dottore

(Y/n)'s POV

I gave Tomo a sympathetic smile as he told me everything that happened. I hugged him tight, and he cried on my shoulder with his whole body shaking.

'It's ok...it's ok, Tomo.' I whispered

'I never meant it...' he whispered, shaking his head as he cried

'I know you didn't.' I consoled, 'I promise I'll bring you and everyone else justice.'

I sighed softly. I hated everything that happened to him, and part of me hated myself. I doubted Tomo...I mean, I did have reason to, but when I heard his side...I couldn't help but regret everything I'd thought. The angry thoughts were all gone. It was strange to see Tomo cry. He was never the type to cry. He'd always find a way to make anyone smile. Bad day at school? He'd make cat shaped dango. Got into a fight? An hour long lecture while cleaning up your wounds.

'How about you rest for a while, hmm? Do you want me to call Kazu to pick you up, or do you wanna see your therapist?'

He shook his head. He let out a shaky breath and gave me a weak smile

'C'mon (N/n), I'll be fine. Don't worry about me, m'kay?'

'You sure?'

He nodded in response. I silently got up and left the room

Heizou's POV

Once she came out, her eyes darkened. Her expression became cold.

'Put out a search warrant for Doctor Ill Dottore. I want him alive...he's mine to punish.' she said harshly.

'That bad, huh?'

'I want him dead, Heizou.' she whispered darkly.

My eyes widened in surprise. There was no hint of mischief or jokes in her voice. She really wanted Ill Dottore dead. Groveling at her feet, begging for the sweet release of death.

'Cause he hurt Tomo?' I asked as we walked together

'Not just for him...Heizou, the things he's done, they're horrible.' she said, releasing a shaky breath. 'He's hurt so many families and people...I want him dead. Dying at my feet.'

She looked at me and explained everything Tomo told her. My eyes widened as I heard all the torture that happened.

'Heizou, if I didn't save you or Kazu, you'd be going through that now. I can't live with the possibility of him hurting you guys.'

'He won't be able to touch us, Princess. Don't worry your pretty little head about that.' I said, smiling softly

I took her hand in mine and gently kissed it.

'Heizou w-what if he does his mind control on another innocent subject from Calypso.' she asked worriedly.

'He won't, and you know why?' I began, 'Because he has the prettiest and best detective in all of Inazuma working on this case. I know she'll bring him to justice.'

I gave her a small wink, and her face brightened a bit.

'Ah, there's that lovely smile I missed so much.'

She chuckled a bit.

'That was cheesy, Master Detective.'

'Still made ya smile, didn't I?' I said with a smirk, 'I don't care how cheesy I need to be to make my Princess smile.'

She giggled

'You really do know how to make me smile, Heizou.'

'Can you do me a favor then? I want you to never hide that beautiful smile of yours~.'

'Enough with the cheesy pickup lines Master Detective.' she said, smiling

'Oh, I have millions in my book, but I'll leave those for our first date, Princess~' I said, and her eyes widened. 'Don't think I forgot about having our first date.'

'Stop teasing me.' she said, and I couldn't help but laugh a bit. She truly was absolutely adorable, and I was lucky enough to call her mine.

My face then hardened as one of the uniforms came up to us.

'Detective (Y/n), we have received a package from the Fatui...it's addressed to you.' he said

She slowly took the package from him, and her hands shook in anticipation. It was a USB drive.

'Get this to tech. Make them scan it for potential viruses.' I said to the uniform, and he nodded in response

'I think Dottore wants to have a little conversation with us.'

'Well, we have some choice words for him, don't we?'

'Oh, you know I do.'

Once the drive was thoroughly checked for viruses, we were able to view it. The video started up showing the one and only Ill Dottore himself. He was seated on an armchair with a black mask covering his eyes.

"Hello (Y/n) (L/n). You must already know who I am, and I know everything about you. I believe you have something of great value in your possession. You have my most valuable asset. Here I thought the police force doesn't steal but you. You little bitch stole. Such a disgrace to the TCPD. You know Tomodachi belongs to me."

Dottore's voice was full of spite and hatred towards her. I noticed as (Y/n) squeezed her sleeves as a means to calm down. It was a habit of hers to help her keep a level head. She clenched her teeth, and her (e/c) eyes reflected pure rage.

'You fucking liar.' she mumbled angrily under her breath.

"I'd advise you bring him back to me willingly before I resort to some less desirable ways. If you don't give him to me willingly, I will use brute force and take him from you and sweeten the deal...I'll take Tomodachi's younger brother and your partner."

(Y/n)'s eyes widened as she let out a shaky breath.

'It's ok (Y/n). Stay calm.' she whispered to herself, but this time, there was fear in her eyes.

I took her hand in mine, and she looked at me.

'I'm here, ok? I'm here.'

"Now now (Y/n). I know you're scared. You do know what we do in Calypso, don't you? Would you want them to go through that because you were too stubborn to return what's mine? I'm sure you'd never want to hurt them because...you love them too much. You love your partner so much, don't you? If you don't give Tomodachi back...I'll torture Heizou the most. I'll give him the most amount of sessions. I'm sure he's strong enough to bear these wonderful experiments, don't you think? And Kazuha, he's like a brother to you, isn't he? He's quite handsome...how about I rip his face off? And let him bleed to death."

Her eyes got teary, but then anger bubbled in her.

'YOU SADISTIC FREAK! I'LL KILL YOU! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU!' she screamed, trying to charge at the screen.

'(Y/n)! (Y/n)! Calm down!' I yelled, holding her back as she struggled to get to him
