Heizou's POV

It's been so long since we shut down Pandora and the Fatui in general. (Y/n) and I have been doing a ton of cases here and there, but we don't complain. Something was strange, though. Today (Y/n) was acting pretty suspicious and secretive. I tried asking Kazuha and Tomo, but both of them shrugged in response. Strange...even her best friend doesn't know. She tells him everything. So this is strange...or are they lying to me?

'What are you hiding, Princess?' I muttered to myself as I snuck up to her purse

I was about to open and investigate when...she found me.

'What do you think you're doing, Master Detective.' I heard (Y/n)'s voice say, annoyed, with an eyebrow raised

'O-Oh, hello there, Princess! I-I uh was searching for a hair tie!' I said frantically

'You have one in your hair.' she pointed out.

Shoot, that was a stupid excuse. I am not at my best today. C'mon, think Heizou!

'O-Oh, I see that, but don't ya think it's kinda boring? So dull.' I said frantically, 'Stupid, dull black. So out of fashion, don't ya think?'

'Sure it is.' she said with her arms crossed. 'What do you want me to put a pretty pink princess bow in your hair? A one with sparkles and glitter or, ooo, a mama's boy bow! It'll go perfectly with your shirt.'

'You wouldn't dare. You're not going to let that go, aren't you? That's my favorite shirt, and you know it.'

'Try me, Master Detective.' she said smugly as she brought her face close to mine. 'Of course, I'll never let you live down that cute shirt you had on the night before I threatened to break into your house. You were absolutely adorable~. And the fact you love your mom is even cuter.'

I chuckled a bit at her antics. I took advantage of this and stole a kiss. Her cheeks turned pink.

'If you wanted to kiss me so badly, Princess, you could've just asked.' I said with a smirk

'Oh shut up.,' she said, pushing my face away. 'Stupid flirt.'

I chuckled a bit, smiling at her. Ah, it's so easy to make you flustered, my sweet (Y/n).

'But I'm your stupid flirt.~' I responded, 'Forever.~'

She smiled and looked into my eyes. Her (e/c) eyes softened, and so did mine. I pulled her close and held her tight

'You indeed are my Master Detective.' she responded, taking my face in her hands

'If I am, then you have to tell me what's going on...what are you hiding from me.'

Her eyes widened in surprise. She quickly recovered before speaking up.

'That's for me to know and you to find out.' she responded while booping my nose.

'Oh c'mon.'

'You like a good mystery, don't you? Consider it that.'

'You're no fun, Princess.'

'I know I'm a blast.' she said smugly.

I rolled my eyes.

(Y/n)'s POV

Ok, everything for Heizou's birthday is going according to plan. I looked at the gifts I prepared and snorted when I saw one of them. He's going to love that. I smugly held the jug of holy water.
