Heizou's POV

Soon enough, Dottore was dead, and it was over.

'Wow, Princess, that was...brutal.'

'Fucking asshole deserved to die in the most painful way possible. Tch deserved to die alone, but I wanted to see him suffer and realize what he'd done.'

Her breathing was still heavy and nervous. I placed my hand on her shoulder. Her eyes well up with tears. I hugged her as she started crying.

'It's all over now (N/n). He's dead. He won't hurt anyone ever again.'

I stared coldly at Dottore's dead body. Angels always destroy the devils. I was glad Dottore was dead. I was glad to see (Y/n) look calmer. It looked like a huge weight was off her shoulders.

'It's over.' I whispered softly

(Y/n)'s POV

It was over...everything was over. When we returned, I quickly left the precinct. I went to Tomo. He looked at me, a bit surprised. I ran and hugged him

'He's gone now, Tomo.' I said softly as his body froze. 'Dottore's dead.'

His eyes widened.

'Really?' he asked, his voice wavering a bit as he broke the hug

I smiled and nodded.

'I killed him myself.' I said smiling

He blinked in surprise.

'Wow...you weren't kidding when you said you wanted him dead.' Tomo said with a smile as he crossed his arms

'Of course, I meant it. No one messes with my favorite Kaedehara brothers and gets away with it.' I said smirking

He chuckled. His eyes softened before he spoke.

'You truly are a gem (N/n). I couldn't ask for a better friend. Heck, I'd literally have you as my sister. Don't tell Kazuha, though.' he said, winking as a joke.

'It's the least I can do for you, Tomo.' I said, smiling. 'You helped raise me, and you showed me this profession. I wouldn't be here if you hadn't given me all of your one hour long lectures over some cat shaped dango. I can never repay you for that.'

'(N/n) The fact that you're bringing justice to everyone in Calypso by killing Dottore is thanks enough. You don't owe me anything. You earned everything you have today.'

I smiled brightly. Things were finally making sense. The dark shadow of fear, anxiety, and loneliness was gone. I felt lighter after who knows how long.

'How about you, Zuzu, and I get some cat shaped dango today, hmm? My treat. A way to celebrate, y'know.'

I chuckled at the nickname.

'Free food!? And you paying for said food!? The gods have heard my prayers.' I joked as I let out a dramatic gasp

'Ha ha, very funny (N/n).' he said, rolling his eyes while putting an arm around my shoulder.

'I know, I'm hilarious.' I said smirking

'Sure you are.' he said, ruffling my hair

'Hey, knock it off.' I said, chuckling, and then yanked his hair tie off

'(N/N)! GIVE THAT BACK!' he yelled with his hair coming in his face

'HA! NO!' I said as I waved it in front of his face. 'YOU GOTTA CATCH ME FIRST~.'

'YOU BETTER FUCKING RUN NOW (Y/N) (L/N)!' he yelled, chasing after me.

Once Kazu came home, his eyes widened.

'Why the fuck is my house a mess?' he asked, looking around at the pillows thrown around

'Blame him/her!' Tomo and I said, pointing at each other

'AHA!' Tomo yelled, yanking the hair tie outta my hand

'HEY, NO FAIR!'

Kazuha sighed, wiping his face from exhaustion. He walked over to us, and I smirked and stole Kazu's hair tie and smirked.

'(N/N)!'

I chuckled and ran as Tomo chortled. Tomo caught hold of me and ran

'I HATE YOU TWO!'

After a while, we calmed down, laughing together. This felt nice...home felt like home again.

'I love you guys.' I said as I hugged them tight 'I love you guys with all my heart.'

Heizou's POV

The fatui's projects were shut down permanently. With Tomo's help (Y/n) and I was able to expose the fatui and shut down the human testing. Calypso and Pandora were shut down, and everyone from Calypso was saved. They went to actual doctors who helped them. Kazuha and Yuki reported the whole thing, and their story hit it off and literally started trending. The Fatui went bankrupt and completely destroyed after being exposed. I smiled to myself because this was the happiest I'd ever seen (Y/n) ever. I smirked as work finished on Friday.

'(N/n) I believe I owe you some dinner.' I said with a smirk

'Are you asking me out on a date?' she joked. 'Or do you wanna get the bet over with.'

'Oh c'mon, Princess. You know I want to take you out on a date. Need to show you what a gentleman I indeed am. I mean what kind of boyfriend wouldn't take his lovely girlfriend out on a date?' I responded 'So will you go out with me?'

She chuckled a bit.

'Lemme think about it...yes I'll go out with you.' she said smiling

I smiled.

'I'll pick you up at seven then~' I said with a smirk while she shook her head smiling

The dinner we shared at the resturaunt was lovely. I'd arranged a candlight dinner and ordered (Y/n)'s favorite food. Her smile was so bright the entire date it just made my heart melt on the spot. I was so lucky...I was so lucky to have this kind, smart, brave and absolutely gorgeous girl as my lover. I was lucky to call her mine and I could never think of replacing her because (Y/n) is different from others...she's one of a kind a diamond in a sea of carbon. When I was dropping her home I stopped her.

'Hey I think you owe me a kiss.' I said with a smirk

'I do?' she asked acting innocently

I chuckled and pulled her close. She smile and took my face in her hands and kissed me gently. Once be broke the kiss I looked into her eyes.

'I love you (Y/n) (L/n).' I said with a soft smile

'And I love you Shikanoin Heizou.' she responded before kissing me again.
