Penelope POV

"Can you grab me a coke out of the fridge too?" Peter called out from his spot on the couch.

Dumping the rest of the popcorn into the bowl, you huffed. "What do I look like? A maid service?"

"Come on, Sparks. Pleeeease?"

You rolled your eyes. "Fine. But it's gonna cost ya."

"Wait! I take it back, I'll get my own."

"Too late!" You answered his panic in a sing-song voice, grabbing two cokes from the fridge and sending them into the living room with your powers before tucking the obscenely large bowl of popcorn under your arm.

Despite your earlier objections, movie nights were one of your favorite things to do. The two of you had been having them since you moved in together right after high school. There was nothing quite like dressing down in your largest oversized black sweatshirt, leggings, and fluffy socks to gorge yourself on candy and popcorn. No expectations to look or act a certain way. No worries about someone needing your help. Just a relaxing night in with your best friend.

Your best friend that was currently snuggled up under your favorite blanket.

"Peter Parker, you get your stinky ass feet away from my blanket."

He only smirked in reply.

Just as you took a step forward to place the popcorn on the coffee table next to the other various take out containers so that you could properly pummel him, Vision came floating straight through the living room wall.

You squeaked, turning away so quickly that a good amount of popcorn fell out of the bowl.

Peter stood up like the seat beneath him was on fire. "Mr. Vision! Sir. What are you doing here?"

Vision ignored him and looked at you. "We require your assistance."

"Mine?" You asked, unsure.

"Yes, we are in need of your healing abilities."

"Oh, okay." You placed the bowl down on the coffee table before stepping over to Vision.

"Penn-" Peter's hand landed on your shoulder, concern taking over his features.

He knew the price you paid for healing others.

"I'll be fine Peter. Meet me there? We can totally use the tower's theater for movie night when I'm finished."

He nodded his head.

"If you would please follow me." Vision carefully helped you out of the window onto the fire escape before holding you closely to fly off into the night.

Squeezing your eyes shut you focused on the feeling of Vis' arms wrapped around you. Heights never bothered you when Webs swung you about. It was only during other circumstances. Bridges, airplanes, roller coasters. A half robot half man person carrying you through the night in a hold that definitely didn't feel tight enough.

Quickly, yet somehow not quickly enough, you felt him touch down on solid ground. Opening your eyes, you found yourself on the library balcony.

"We must hurry." He walked ahead of you, holding your forearm to pull you along.

"It's not- it's not that bad, is it? Like we have a medical team here, they just need a little help?" You asked breathily, trying to keep up.

Vision turned to look down at you as you climbed the stairs. "It is not good. You must prepare yourself."
