The warmth of the sun streaming through your windows woke you. Stretching, you froze when you felt a body beneath you. Peeking your eyes open, you were met with Bucky's face.

"Good morning, Princess." He smiled up at you. "Or should I say afternoon?"

You laid your head back down on his chest, stretching your heavy limbs out before snuggling back in. "What time is it?" You mumbled.

He laughed, circling his arms around your hips and rubbing small circles along your back. "About one. You've damn there slept the day away."

"Was tired." You whispered, all too happy to go back to sleep.

"Good. You clearly needed it."

You pushed back up to glare down at him. "What's that supposed to mean?"

His smile only widened. "Nothing."

"Mmhmm. I don't buy that. But I also don't care right now. Wait a minute. You stayed?"

"You asked me to."

"Yeah, but-"

Alpine jumped on Bucky's chest between you, rubbing her face along yours.

"She stayed too." Bucky needlessly explained.

"Hey pretty kitty." You greeted the demon, reaching up to give her chin scratches before pushing her out of the way to give you room to lay back down.

Bucky squeezed you tighter. "Come on, time to get up."

"Five more minutes." You pleaded.

He swatted your ass before sitting up, forcing you off of him.

You only rolled to the side and grabbed a pillow as he got up and headed into your bathroom.

You'd just dozed back off when he reemerged. "Let's go. You need to eat something."

"Not hungry." You grumbled. But the growling in your stomach at the thought of food gave away your lie.

"Wanna try that again?" He asked.

Alpine sat on your ass, needing biscuits and purring like crazy.

"Fine I'm up, I'm up." You grumbled, rolling out of the bed.

Your eyes still felt heavy, and you rubbed at them as the sleepy haze cleared from your vision. Bucky stepped up in front of you, his fingers combing through the rat's nest that was your hair.

"What's for breakfast?" You asked him.

He smiled. "Lunch is whatever you want."

"Leftover pizza?" Hope filled your voice.

"Sure."

"Fucking bet."

Bucky rolled his eyes.

"You're kinda in my way." You told him.

"What are you going to do about it?" His voice held a hint of playfulness that you'd never heard from him.

You liked it.

Grinning, you flashed behind him, taking form in your bathroom in a plume of lavender and amethyst shadows. To your surprise, they didn't attach themselves to you. You stayed whole.

Damn, Loke was right.

Bucky however, freaked out a little bit, rushing into the bathroom and grabbing at your arms to look you over.

"You're okay?" He asked, concerned.

"Yeah. Mischief helped me a little bit yesterday."

"Good. That's- good." He gulped, still looking at you as if you'd disappear the second he looked away.
