"Ready, Sparks? The movers are here!"

Taping the last box closed, you stepped back to look at your stack. Your entire life fit into fifteen boxes, and ten of those were clothes.

"Ready!" You called as you strode back down the hall.

"Are we swinging or driving?" You asked Peter as he stood back to allow Stark's movers into your apartment.

"Penn, it's upstate New York. We're driving. Mr. Stark sent a car. You sure you got everything?"

"Everything except for Mr. Whiskers." You frowned.

"You can't bring the mouse, Sparks." He sighed.

"But the next tenants might not feed him. How's he going to survive without his daily snack of peanut butter Ritz Bitz?"

"He'll find a way, I'm sure. Let's go, I don't want to keep Happy waiting. He gets moody."

"Fine." You grabbed the box of Ritz Bitz you'd left on the counter and upended the entire bag into the corner of the cupboard under the sink before following Webs out and down the rickety stairwell to the waiting black Escalade.

Of fucking course this was the car they sent.

You tried to ignore the memories of the last time you were in this car as you slid in behind Webs.

Happy was in fact grumpy.

"Took you long enough. Next time I'm charging by the minute."

As Happy pulled out, he caught your eye in the rearview mirror through the open partition.

"Seat belts." He demanded.

You rolled your eyes and made a show of buckling up.

"Have you seen it?" You asked Webs, your body giddy with excitement.

"What?"

"The compound. Is it cool? Do we get our own rooms or are we sharing? Is there a pool?"

"Jeesh, Sparks. I know just as much as you do. We'll see when we get there."

"If there's not a pool there better at least be a hot tub."

"You're killing me. We are literally moving into Avengers compound, officially starting the initiative program, and you're worried about a freaking hot tub."

"Priorities, Webs. Priorities."

Your phone dinged and you opened up a message from Livi. Her and Mischief had already moved in this morning, and she was waiting for you.

L- Are you on your way??

P- Yeah, we just left. Happy is not happy.

L- LOL! Yeah, the name doesn't really suit him, does it?

P- Is there a pool?

L- Yes. And a hot tub!

You showed the message to Peter and he rolled his eyes, but he couldn't hide his smile.

P- Shut up! That's awesome! What's your room like? Have you seen mine??

L- You'll have to see for yourself when you get here.

P- Rude

L- Don't worry, I'm sure you're gonna love it.

P- Anything's better than where we were that's for damn sure

L- Truth.

L- GTG they're fighting over what to get for lunch. What do you want so I can give them your input?
