You'd dressed in a purple satin layered skort romper that had an open laced up back which you'd paired with some silver strappy sandals. Luckily, the marks Steve had left on your skin had faded. You could really only see the slightly pink lines if you knew to look for them. Curling your hair and doing your makeup felt like coming back to yourself. It'd been too long since you'd last gone out and you were going to make the best of it. The only issue was getting past Steve.

You hadn't told the girls about your most recent transgression and the resulting punishment of not being allowed out. Sneaking down the stairs, you'd made it to the living floor when Steve's voice halted you dead in your tracks.

"Where do you think you're going?"

Catching the railing, you spun around, meeting his questioning gaze.

Crossing your ankles, you went for innocence. "Out?"

"Out?"

"Yeah, the girls invited me out with them for a girls' day. You wouldn't understand."

Steve placed the bottle of water he'd been drinking on the counter, walking past Stark who looked like he would burst with excitement from your predicament, to stop in front of you.

"Correct me if I'm wrong, little girl, but you were told to stay here."

"I thought you only meant no more patrolling with Peter?"

"You know that's not what I meant." He crossed his arms having none of your shit.

"Please?" You twirled and noticed when Steve's eyes locked onto the sway of your skirt.

That was your in. Picking at the hem of your romper, you lifted it just a bit to rub it between your fingers. Steve's gaze remained, distracted.

"It's just a girls' day. Mani pedis and shopping. Nat, Wands, and Livi will be there. I'll be perfectly safe."

"When will you be back?"

You jumped forwards, slinging your arms around his neck with a squeal. "Thank you! We'll be back before dinner, promise."

Steve's arms wrapped around your hips, lifting you from the ground as his lips met your neck just below your ear. "You will text me your whereabouts and keep your phone on you at all times. You will stay with them the entire time." He spoke into your skin.

"I will, I will."

He put you back down, pulling your chin up to look directly into his eyes. "This does not negate any of the other things we discussed."

"Yes, sir."

"Have fun." He pecked your lips before releasing you.

Not wanting to stick around for him to come to his senses, you hightailed it down the last flight of stairs. Nat and Wands were already waiting by the door, equally dressed to impress. Wands had gone with a knee length burgundy sundress, Nat with a cheetah print corset style tank and leather leggings.

"Where's Livi?" You asked, bouncing on your feet.

"She's on her way down." Nat answered, smiling at you.

Livi descended the stairs just as Nat finished, looking just as cute in her typical rocker chic style. Her black skinny jeans hugged her hips and her oversized gray cable knit sweater hung off her shoulders. She'd actually done her hair and makeup for once, the large brown curls bouncing down her back with each step.

"Okay, I am so ready to get away from this place for a day. Starting now there is no more talk about school, or training, or missions." You looped your arm through Livi's and steered the way through the front door to where her car had already been brought around. "I only want to talk about boys, clothes, and what color you guys think I should do my nails because I can't decide. Shotgun!" Dropping Livi's arm, you raced around the front of the vehicle.
