"Firstly, I believe your bond with the Captain to only be half complete." Loke didn't sit when you arrived at the suite.
You froze in the doorway. "What?"
"When you bound your soul to him, it was one way. For a soul bond to be complete, both souls need to be offering themselves up. The Captain didn't do that, did he?"
"N-no. He was dead, Loke. He couldn't." You squeezed Steve's hand, and he returned the gesture.
"Precisely." Loke agreed.
"So how do we fix it?" You asked.
"You do it again, wholly this time."
"You're going to have to explain."
Because Steve was definitely not fucking dying again.
Loke nodded. "The art of the soul bond is actually quite simple. When two souls meet in an unbridled union, one's seidr must be allowed out to join the two."
"Seidr. My magic?"
"Yes."
"But I don't know the spells."
"You don't need to. You simply will it to be. Your magic will do the rest. Something I didn't know possible outside of gods. Yet you continue to surprise me at every turn, little mortal."
"So, I can complete the bond with Steve, then repeat the same with Bucky."
"That would result in the two of them being solely bound to you. There is also the option of binding the three of you together as one. They would be bound to each other as well."
Glancing up at the two super soldiers by your sides, you found the same feelings as your own reflected in their eyes before turning to smile at Loke. "We vote for option two."
Loki laughed. "I thought you might. Then it is the same. Only, the three of you must be in the same state of connection at the same time."
"So, we do the meditation thing that you and I do. That's easy."
Loke blushed. Like shit you not, a crimson flush took over his cheeks as he rubbed his hands over the color, closing his eyes. "Yggsdrill, give me strength. Have you spoken at all to Olivia about how our soul bond came to be?" He peeked down at you, his green gaze piercing in his need for you to understand.
Oh.
Oh.
"Sex?"
"Sex. I really hope you do not require a visual."
"No. Ahhh I think we've got that covered."
"Thank the nines." Loke's entire body sagged in relief, which was kind of funny.
A small giggle escaped your lips, and he pinned you with a glare. Deciding not to torment the god further, you moved on. "So that's it?"
He nodded once. "That is it."
"But Bruce blocked my magic. If it comes back, it will hurt me again." You dropped Steve and Bucky's hands to grip at the metal cuffs on your wrists.
Loke shook his head. "It will take time to get back to that state. As long as you aren't actively using it, it shouldn't be an immediate problem."
"We need to complete the bond before my magic tries to kill me again."
"Preferably. Gods know Olivia would have my head if anything were to happen."
"Okay. No biggie or whatever." Though your rising heart rate told you that it was in fact a biggie. One you wouldn't dwell on because the only other option your mind could conjure was asking Loki if it were possible to remove your powers all together.
