Olivia POV

Steve was not doing good.

Honestly none of them were. Olivia was walking around on the brink of a full mental breakdown at all times. That was when she wasn't sleeping. She'd gotten enough shut eye over the last few weeks to last her a lifetime. To no avail. Her powers refused to give her anything to go on. Just countless nightmares that she couldn't remember when she woke.

Loki wanted her to stop. She wouldn't.

Tone on the other hand hadn't slept in days, she was willing to bet Peter hadn't either. The kid was walking around doing his best impression of a racoon, downing more energy drinks than Liv ever had in her life. He'd taken up hold in his and Penn's suite, only coming out to spar. He had thrown himself into his training, combatting with Bucky with a ruthlessness Liv had never seen from him before. She could only hope he was keeping up with his schoolwork. Though how he'd manage that she wasn't sure.

Natasha and Clint had been sent out on mission after mission, following up on leads endlessly. She was pretty sure they were sleeping in the quinjet.

Thor had taken over the spare room in Liv and Loki's suite, leaving Asgard to be run by his council. Which was saying something considering he trusted them about as much as one would trust a venomous snake. Loki had even tried to convince him to go back, but he'd refused outright. Apparently, the god had been having weird dreams himself and Loki questioned if he'd inherited Frigga's gift of sight. Liv was strewn with unwanted jealousy of his ability to remember his dreams.

Wanda pushed herself so hard searching for Penelope's signature, even Vision looked worried. It wasn't often he showed human expressions to such a degree. But his face seemed to be stuck in perpetual concern mode as he paced her permanent spot floating above the floor in the lab.

Bruce was constantly on the phone or a telecall, working with his colleagues all over the globe to get a pin on any suspicious radiation spikes or whatever.

FRIDAY had been pushed to her max. The A.I. had been glitching for days, forcing Tony to activate another A.I. to pick up the slack. KAREN didn't exactly get along with FRIDAY which was kind of funny, not that anyone had an ounce of humor to give.

Bucky was a shadow. Whenever he made an appearance outside of the training gyms, he was like a walking corpse. Liv got the feeling he was having a difficult time with his flashbacks, and no one was sane enough to help him. That was always Steve's forte anyway.

But Steve was not doing good.

He had killed someone. Captain freaking America had beat the life out of someone in cold blood and not even broken a sweat. But it got them more answers than anyone else had managed. So they all let it slide, giving him a wide berth whenever he emerged from the gyms, radiating wrath.

What remained of the group was currently holed up in Tone's lab. Olivia had just woken up from her second nap of the morning and Loki insisted she get out of their room and get something to eat. Her plate of chicken nuggets sat cold and untouched on the table next to her as she observed everyone else, counting the minutes until Loki would let her go back to sleep.

Wanda gasped, her back straightening. "I've got her!" She screamed, her eyes glowing red.

Liv shot up out of her seat, the stool knocking to the ground behind her.

"Where?!" Tony barked, already pulling up a map on the screen.

"Hang on." Wanda closed her eyes again, squeezing them in concentration. The swirls of her magic amplified around her, casting the entire room in an ominous red glow.
