Soooo it's been a hot minute. I know everyone was expecting book three like a month ago and it didn't happen. Actually I've been absent across all platforms since September, and here's why.....
I almost died. Like shit you not, airway closing, rushed into an emergency surgery, almost died. And that's only after about two months of getting increasingly sick and endless inconclusive tests and doctors not knowing what the hell was going on. Long story short, it was like three different things happening in my body that combined left me... well... scared shitless and questioning if I was ready to meet my maker. What I would've given for a fancy cradle machine that could fix just about anything instantly, or fancy healing powers like Penelope. Haha XD Anyways after almost dying, I spent another month in recovery which sucked almost as much as the almost dying part.
Then my dad died. Yeah. That sucked. Fuck cancer. I got better just in time to make the flight back home and spend his last days by his side.
Don't worry though, it wasn't all darkness. Through everything, I grew even closer to my boyfriend and he found the time amongst all the craziness that had become our lives to propose. That's right, I got my own little love story and everything. It's all going great. I moved into his place over the last few weeks and he even made me my own little office space. Today I finally finished setting everything up and turned on my computer for the first time in months.
All that to say, book three is not finished. Not even close. Honestly, I have one solid chapter written and a shit ton of little ideas scattered across different notebooks, google docs, and notes on my phone. I may not have been well enough to write the story, but I sure as shit wasn't going to let the little ideas that continue to wrack my brain get lost in all the hoopla. I am so excited to get back into writing. I feel like being away from my keyboard, I lost a part of myself that I am so ready to find again. My stories are far from over.
As for an updated timeline.... maybe by the end of this summer for book three? Honestly, I'm a little scared to put a timeline on it. For now my life seems to have mellowed out and here's hoping it stays that way. I will keep yall updated as I move forward with the writing process. In the meantime, maybe go back and reread the first two books. I know I'm going to and I can't wait to see all of the new comments I've gotten. (;
