Olivia POV

Olivia had gone to check on Penn this morning only to find her room empty. Her next stop was the medical wing, thinking she had gone to Bruce since she hadn't been feeling well. That wasn't the case either.

Penelope was dead. Again.

And Bucky was likely spiraling. Again.

All of which was something that could've easily been avoided.

Olivia stormed out of the medical wing, uncaring as she spooked a few of the staff on her way past. No. The only thing she cared about at the moment was finding her mate and reaming him out. The frosted glass door that automatically slid shut behind her only fueled her anger. She needed to slam something. Spotting a giant potted plant in the entryway of the compound she sent her shadows out, lifting it five feet into the air before hurtling it back down. Clay shards skidded over the polished floor, now covered in dirt.

It didn't help the feeling storming in her gut.

Gritting her teeth, Liv reached into her soul and found the bond she shared with Loki, giving it a yank. It pulled taught in her chest, and she followed her instinct, knowing it would lead her straight to him.

Surprise splashed over her, cooling her rage when she was led to the spot in the field outside designated for the Bifrost. She eyed the design burnt into the grass as she contemplated her options. She could wait for him to return, he never stayed in Asgard longer than a day without informing her so he'd likely be back later. But did she really want to sit on this for that long? No. Besides, she was the fucking Princess. She should be allowed to travel freely to the realm.

"Heimdall! I know you can hear me! Open the Bifrost!" Liv screamed into the sky, squinting angrily at the sun.

A moment later she found herself submerged in the Bifrost and it took all of her concentration not to pass out. The few times she'd done this before had been with Loki and the absence of his protective embrace was jarring.

When she arrived in the dome that controlled the Bifrost, her body instantly folded in on itself in an attempt to rein in the nausea. Hands on her knees, she focused on the golden floor beneath her feet as she breathed deeply.

"My Princess, how may I be of service?" Heimdall's voice rang out from his dais in the center of the room.

Liv held up a finger, needing another moment before words were possible.

When the saliva finally stopped pooling in her cheeks, she straightened. "Where is he."

Heimdall smiled, his eyes glinting with his sense of knowing. "The Prince is currently occupied with the council."

"Fuck."

"Do you kiss my brother with that mouth?" Thor spoke jovially from the archway, the rainbow bridge a colorful background to his smile.

Olivia couldn't help but return his joy. It'd been too long since she'd seen her friend. Running, she jumped into his awaiting arms and held on tightly as he spun them around before setting her down at his feet.

"You came on your own?" He asked, his voice filled with awe.

She nodded. "I need to speak with your brother."

"Norns. What has he done this time?"

"It's what he hasn't done." Liv explained.

"Now this I must hear. Come, it will be a while before he can free himself from the clutches of those imbeciles. I want to show you something while I hear of your ire."
