Go and mend Your broken Heart

"Joel, where the hell are you bringing me?" – "Just stop talking and trust me dor once.", he threatens whispering it in my ear but I don't listen. "Trust you? We've only been together for a week and you're bringing me somewhere to kill me already or why don't I get to see where we're going?", I continue asking and definitely don't shut up. "But did I force you to come with me?", his voice becomes secretive all of a sudden. "Uhm, well. You just but a blindfold over my eyes and brought me to the car so yes, you could call it forcing me.", I think out loud. "Well, in that case I probably really want to kill you.", he breathes quietly and threateningly and therefore forces me to continue.

One week has passed since Joel and I put down our weapons and since then we have spent nearly every minute with each other. Is it a bit over the top? Maybe. Do we get along with each other better than ever before? Definitely!

When I returned from the grocery store this evening Joel was already waiting for me at the front door. He let me put down the groceries but not even a second later he covered my eyes with a cloth and led me out of the house again and towards his car. The cloth still covering my eyes I had to sit in his car while he drove me somewhere that I was not allowed to see.

My gut says that we driven nearly 20 minutes before Joel stops and helps me to get out of the car. Since then he kept on pushing me through nowhere and while I have lost my orientation completely, he seems to know exactly where we are and exactly what he is doing.

I do know that he isn't kidnapping me or bringing me to any illegal meeting but still I would like to know why he is dragging me to some not even empty place with my eyes covered. Different voices are coming from all around us. Most of them speak Finnish, but none of them are giving me any hints about where the fuck we are.

All of a sudden Joel stops and takes one of his hands from my shoulder. Quietly I listen to him greeting someone and how he probably gives him his hand. I keep standing there in silence trying to understand anything they're saying. To recognize a voice, to recognize who Joel just met, but there is no one. Either my boyfriend is hallucinating and thinks that there is someone or the person is just quiet. I'm hoping for the second version.

Slowly his hands lay back on my shoulder and briefly after that his voice appears again. "We are there. And... Please don't be mad at me.", he says and takes off the cloth covering my eyes. For a short moment, I have to get used to the bright light that is shining into this room until I can see who is standing in front of me.

Blinking I open my eyes and see a guy just a few steps in front of me, he is smiling. Without hesitation I run up to him and jump into his arms. "This time you recognized me.", he laughs and hugs me back. "You and Joonas wanted to fool me. Joel didn't.", I correct him and end the hug. Immediately I let my hand run through his light brown curls playfully and laugh.

"But real talk now Joel, why should I be mad at you?", I ask the Finn behind me again. Even though I didn't tell Keno about Joel and me I don't not like it that he is here. He knows that we are fine with each other just not that we're a couple. For this, Joel and I have a deal. No one will know about us if not both of us agree.

A short look to his feet and I know that the surprise isn't over yet. When Keno realises that Joel is trying not to answer me he lets his arm rest on my shoulders. "You know what, Lia? I'm not the only person Joel asked to come to Oulu.", while saying this he turns me around despite myself and lets my gaze rest on the long corridor he just came from.

I recognize two other people standing in the corridor looking at us. One of them is standing there with a smile on his face, the impression of the other guy is less friendly. His arms are crossed in front of his chest and he looks a bit annoyed.
