CHAPTER 23

As long as i want that to be me, i can't. Your life is really cruel and unfair, the one that you love is not for you and the one that you don't love or like ang patuloy na nandiyan sayo. Nang makashoot si josh ay tumingin ito sa akin and he acted like he throw a bow to me with kiss. Cringe. Lahat ng tao sa gym ay sumigaw, kinilig ba or natuwa dahil nakashoot si josh. Tumingin ako kay leandale, funny how she kissed dray and now, look at her-cheering her ex boyfriend. Kaya siguro wala sa wisyo si dray? Serves him right. Kidding, it's our section that we're talking about here. They have to win this. Kaya naman bumaba ako at pumunta sa bench ng mga players, im with karly.

"C'mon guys, anong nangyayari sainyo? Y'all have to win this, sort out your worries and such. Focus!" sigaw ni karly. Inabutan ko sila ng water bottle and patted their back.

"Y'all got this!" i said. "Dray, can we talk?" sinamaan niya lang ako ng tingin pero pumayag pa rin siya, medyo gumilid lang kami.

"What is it?" ang lapit namin.

"Is this about leandale?" mas sumama mukha niya. "Forget her just for now, pag nanalo kayo, sayo lahat ng pasalubong na dadalhin nila mommy." alam ko kahinaan mo-pero hindi man sumama mukha niya, nawalan naman ng reaction. Wow, so you don't like it na? "Ikaw rin, it's your loss." i smirked as if there's nothing going on. I acted normal.

"Okay guys, 20 secs left. Condition yourselves, focus!" tumingin kaming dalawa sa coach nila, kahit si karly naki-sali na rin sa all-in-one-hand sila.

"Great offer, walang bawian ha." i smiled. Yes!

"Of course! You got this, go go!" i patted her back, aa i miss this.

Hindi na kami bumalik sa inupuan namin ni karly sa taas, dito na kami umupo sa mga upuan ng mga players. Tumingin ako sa kanina naming inupuan and i saw shisly, masamamg nakatingin samin. Why? I mean what did i do to them? I'm just inlove, hindi ba nila magawang maging masaya for me? I felt a palm in my hand, it's karly. She looked at me with her warm smile.

"They will understand soon, trust me." ngumiti nalang ako sa kanya pero hindi yun umabot sa mata ko. Since they only have 20 seconds, they conditioned their selves. They formed a circle to discuss their performance a while ago."Valencia, focus" i heard their coach said. I was just observing-more like i was observing dray, he looked at the other side where josh's team. Nawala lahat ng emotion sa mukha ni dray and all of the audience went wild. And so i looked at where the root of commotion is. Ah.. Leandale and her ex/boyfriend are hugging. Sweet. Tumayo ako para sana pumunta kay dray nang higitin ni karly kamay ko.

"San ka pupunta?" i just pointed dray and she just said "ahh" and let go of my hand. Bumaba ako para idistract si dray, wtf am i even doing? Alam ko namang di ako.

"Hey," i said as i approached dray, tumingin lang siya sakin and drink his water. "You good?"

"Ofcourse," rinig kong bumuntong hininga siya. "Kailan niya kaya ititigil pag papanggap niya." He said out of nowhere, i suppose it's leandale.

"Pagpapanggap lang ba talaga lahat?" tumingin siya sakin, "I doubt that."

Bago pa siya makapagsalita ay nag announce na ang announcer saying that the game will start na. Umayos na ako ng upo but before that, i ppatted dray's shoulder.

"You got this," tumango lang ito bago tumayo.

The crowd went wild when they get back to their position. Nag simula na ngang mag announce, marami siyang sinabi na hindi ko naman naintindihan kung ano mga yun. Kaya kinuha ko na lamang ang cellphone ko and starts taking pictures of some random things here. I do this para may mga basis ako sa mga sketches ko, i love sketching buildings and every angle or perspectives of it. The camera got blocked by someone kaya tiningnan ko and it's josh.
