"Merry Christmas Ber" bati niya sa akin sabay bigay ng regalo na nakabalot sa red paper bag.
Now, I really don't know whether he is mentally challenged or something, basta ang alam ko.. bumalik ang Darren na alam kong mahal ako. Sabihin man ng iba na siguro inaassume ko lang to ngunit iba talaga kung ikaw ang nakakaramdam dahil by the used of his actions and words right now, malalaman mo.
"Ah.. Ren? Merry Christmas din" sabay bigay ko din nung regalo which is nakabalot sa wrapper.
We've already done eating our notche Buena. Now, we're here in veranda watching the view around the place.
Those stars in the night, christmas lights and even the moon above tells how happy I am now. He don't even dare to call me ATE since then. The fact that he's sweet right now makes me know that he is just denying himself for some unknown reason. I have a big feeling na nasa USB ang sagot. Ano pa nga ba ang use nun nung binigay niya sa akin?
Both of our family called awhile ago and they we're so emotional to the point na nagiyakan kaming lahat. Its Christmas, marami ka talagang mararamdaman na kung anu-ano.
I watched at my phone and it's already 2 am in the morning. Naaantok na ako. I was about to close my eyes when I realized that Darren is crying in front of me.

Darren's POV
Why is it so hard? I love Ember. I really do. I love her much as she love me. I was surprised last night when she suddenly confessed. I don't know how to react. I don't know what to say. Im so damn speechless. I'm very happy. I'm very glad that she really fall for me.
I am now starring at her beautiful sleeping face. Her peaceful gesture looks like she's comfortably on it.
She's the girl I'm dreaming of. She's the girl that no one deserves to hurt her. She's not worth it to be leave by.
I lift her up into her bed and gently lay her down. I slowly touch her hair and kissed her forehead.
"I love you Ber. You're not my sister. You'll never be. You're a woman to me. My only bear . Please just understand me. I wanted to hold you but not now"
I'm sorry Ember. I'm such a great coward. I'm afraid. Im afraid.

Ember's POV
Gising ako. Narinig ko ang lahat ng sinabi niya. Pero, bakit ganun? Bakit patatagalin pa? Bakit hindi na lang ngayon? Naguguluhan na talaga ako.
Kinabukasan, after lunch na kami nakarating sa Manila. Dumaan muna kami sa Moa to have a lunch atsaka umuwi na rin.
"Ah, Ate? Ring ng ring 'yung cp mo. will you answer it ?" Sabi ni Darren.
Yes, "Ate" na naman ang tawag niya sa akin ngayong araw. How weird.
Agad ko namang kinuha na kaagad yung cp ko at sinagot kung sino ang tumatawag. Si Hannah lang pala.
Lumabas muna ako sa garden namin. Kasi masiyadong maingay sa loob ng bahay dahil ewan ko sa trip ni Darren na nagsosoundtrip.
"Oh Han?" Sabi ko sa kanya.
"So how's going on na?" Mukhang excited niya pang ani.
"Wala. Ate parin tawag niya pero hindi ko talaga alam kung bakit siya nagkaganun ulit. Unlike yesterday." Saad ko.
