I stare at her dumbfounded. Why is she using my computer when I am logged in?

"Hey!" I call out.

"Hi." She says.

I walk towards her. As I get closer I see that she's blocking the screen from view. Why would she do that?

"What are you doing here?" She asks.

"Uh...I'm working this evening." I remind her.

Realization hits her and she mumbles "Right."

"Did you want to see me?" I ask.

"No. I was just looking for a computer to check a few things about the initiates and I saw that you were logged in, so I used it." After a pause she adds. "I hope you don't mind me doing that."

I shake my head to clear all the wrong ideas going through my head and walk towards her. "Of course not."

She gives me a quick kiss before saying. "I should get going I have to meet Christina in the Pit."

"Okay." I kiss her cheek and leaves. I sit down at the computer and move around the mouse to bring the screen to life.

The camera's display isn't not on the screen but a list of the Initiate's names. I close the window and go back to monitoring the cameras.

After watching a boy slip in a hallway and a chef setting his oven glove on fire, I get bored because there is nothing else to watch. I close the window, deciding to check the cameras at the fence.

But the window beneath it makes me sit forward in my seat. The window is displaying my search history. And all of a sudden a message pops up on the screen. It reads:

Printing complete

I rub my eyes to make sure that what I see is real and not my eyes deceiving me.

I did not print my search history.

I didn't even open it.

Tris. Could she have been lying? I reach up and start rubbing my temples. After a few minutes a plan starts to form in my mind. Only leaders are allowed to keep printers and that too in their offices.

I start scrolling through the cameras which are present in the offices of leaders. The first few are clear. So is Marcus's but when I reach Eric's a blonde blur is leaving the room.

I rewind the recording to find her bent over the printer. And when she turns around I see that she's who I suspected.

It's Tris.

I feel anger swelling up inside me and I grip the table to stop myself from destroying something that isn't mine.

I slam my hand down on the table again and again till I hear a slight creak which makes me stop. I rest my elbows on my knees and take shallow breaths.

I trusted her and she betrayed me.

How could she?

I love her.

I thought that she loved me too.

But she said she did.

Then why would she do this?

All of a sudden a memory comes rushing back to me.

"You need to stop seeing this girl. She's using you. She'll use you and then dump you when she's humiliated you enough."

"She's done nothing wrong. She's a really nice girl and..." I trail off because what I feel for Tris can't be explained in words.

Marcus raises his hands. "Alright. But I warned you and NEVER forget this talk."

Marcus warned me that this would happen and I didn't believe him. I was blinded by my hatred for him. He was right. He is my father after all.

How could I fall for the enemy? How could I let her trick me?
