It's been a month, but Jungkook never comes, Jin is always waiting for him, he shouldn't have done that, he doesn't need to wait for someone who has locked him up for a year, and kept him away from his mother. He should be happy because he could be the only survivor and get out of that place alive.

But Jin felt this parting was too soon, didn't Jungkook ask him to stay with him? but why did he leave Jin like this? did Jin do something wrong?

At that time Jin was making fried eggs, but his mother smelled burning from the kitchen and ran after seeing smoke coming from there, from where Jin was.

"Kim Seokjin! What are you doing? You can burn the kitchen," His mother came and turned off the stove then moved the frying pan to another place and made Jin wake up from his reverie.

"Oh god, Mom I'm sorry, I...I didn't do it on purpose, I--"

"What's wrong with you? hm? you've been daydreaming a lot lately," his mother said.

"Nothing Mom, I...I just thought of something but it doesn't matter," Jin said.

"Go back to your room, let me make breakfast for us," his mother said.

"Oh yeah, I'm sorry Mom," Jin said and he kissed his mother on the cheek before returning to the room. He felt lost, for a month without seeing his face, and being alone in bed felt very strange. What happened to him?

Jin sits on his bed, he doesn't know where the mansion is, it's very far away but Jin doesn't remember where it is, he doesn't have Jungkook's number either. But Jin knows Jungkook will not break his promise. Jin just doesn't know when he'll be back.

Whereas elsewhere, the same thing happened with Jungkook, he was standing in front of his target at that time, a man who had begged forgiveness in front of him.

"Boss, what should we do with him?" Yoongi said.

Jungkook didn't say anything, he was already holding a gun in his hand when he saw the man, but Jin's words kept replaying in his mind and he turned away, away from that place making Yoongi chase him.

"Leave me alone!" Jungkook said and he walked into his room. He poured the whiskey into his glass and immediately drank it, he looked out the window with trembling eyes. What would he lose again this time?

He was trapped in that world, he had to do it, kill those people but what about his promise to Jin? He fought himself and it frustrated him.

"Why are you coming at me like this?" he said.

Jungkook also misses Jin, the room is quiet without him, he sleeps alone, and it feels like he never sleeps well after he lets Jin come home. But bringing Jin back there would be unfair to Jin. What can he give Jin?

Jin was right, he had taken everything Jin had, maybe Jin had also given his heart to Jungkook at that time, but what could Jungkook give to Jin? That love is no longer there, it feels empty, and there's nothing he can give anymore, he's afraid that loving Jin will only make him remember Jisoo. He was afraid that it wasn't love, it was just because seeing Jin was the same as seeing Jisoo. There is a lot of fear in him and he doesn't want Jin to sacrifice anything for a man like him. Jin's heart can't belong to him, because that's all that's left, he has to find the right man who can return his feelings.

"Come in," Jungkook said and Namjoon came inside.

"Boss," Namjoon said and Jungkook turned to him.

"What did he do today?" he said.

"He hasn't left the house until today boss, do I have to go back there tomorrow?" Namjoon said.

"No, he's not our target, let him live happily with his mother, you don't need to watch over them anymore," Jungkook said.

"Boss," Namjoon said.

"What?" he said.

"He looks sad, every night he just looks out the window like he's waiting for someone, maybe it's you," Namjoon said.

"He's going through it, I just need to stay away from him a bit longer," Jungkook said.

"You can go," Jungkook said and Namjoon walked out of his room.

Jungkook came back closer to his window to look out the window, he saw the night sky, lots of stars that made the sky look brighter.

"I asked you to stay with me but I left you like this, this is funny, you drive me crazy Jin, you make me deny my words," Jungkook said.
