The next day I stayed in my pyjamas. My hair was a nest and I had a huge zit on my face. Two dark circles clutched at my eyes and my smile was dim.
I did not look cute that day.
I ate more. Instead of a cup of tea for breakfast I managed a mere five eggs. Rather than break up toddler fights I taught them a few words and we danced to the ridiculous songs they go crazy over. It's no Beatlemania, but dancing is dancing.
My shower that evening was heavenly. Most of my showers are. I can sing, dance, win arguments, and best of all....
Shampoo.
I'm always exhausted after a deep shampoo but the clean feeling is so worth it. There's a lot of little things in life that make everything worth it.
And sometimes...
They're so little I can't even see them.
