"We," I looked at Sara. "Will find out."

"Okay." She said.

She laid back in her hospital bed, sighing deeply. She played with her hair, cringing at the ends.

"Ash and Michael will find out when she will leave, and Cal and I will stay here with Sara." I said.

"Okay." They all said.

Ashton and Michael left the room. Calum and I grabbed chairs and sat next to Sara.

"You know what angers me?" She asked.

"What?"

"That only dead people know what it feels like to die." She said. "And that they can't come back to life."

I just sat there, stunned by what she said.

"Did your mum die?" Calum asked.

"Not exactly." Sara said.

"What happened to her?" I asked.

"S-she, s-she," Sara stuttered. "I don't want to remember. I'm sorry."

"Don't be. Whatever happened, you don't have to tell us. Only when you want to." Calum said.

"Can you tell us about what she looked like?" I asked.

"She had long brown hair. And the softest skin." She started. "And her eyes were chocolate brown like mine. She had the prettiest smiles and she always laughed this amazing soft laugh."

"She sounds beautiful." I said.

"She was." Sara said.

"What about your other family members? Do you have sisters?" Calum asked.

"No."

"Brothers?" Calum asked her.

"Yeah."

"Then you can live with him!" Calum smiled.

"I don't think so." She said.

"Why not?" I asked. "I know I shouldn't have read the book but, Samuel would let you in right?"

She looked at her book.

"How much did you read?" She asked me.

"Uh, like 3 diary entries." I said.

"You didn't get to the last page then?" She asked me, her eyes watering.

"I'm lost, what?" Calum looked confused.

"No I didn't." I told Sara.

"You should read it now." She handed me the book.
