"Jess? The one she'd always talk about when we went shopping?" I asked.

"You guys went shopping?" She giggled.

"Yeah." I said, feeling embarrassed.

"But, yeah, I guess."

I didn't know what to say. So much was going on in my mind. I looked up at her. She looked like Hayley Williams with blue hair and eyes. She was wearing black jeans, white tee, and black converse. Her skin was like snow, her smile as bright as the sun.

She was beautiful.

Wait.

"You look familiar now that I think about it." I said, scratching my head.

"Really?" She asked.

"Yeah. Aren't you in some band?" I asked her.

"Yeah, I am!"

"It starts with a A, right?"

"Arrow."

"Ooohhhh." I said. "OOH! I loved that cover of Heartbreak Girl."

"Really? Thanks!"

"You're the lead singer aren't you?"

"And various other things depending on what song it is." She chuckled.

"Oh. You play guitar?"

"I do. I also play a lot of other things that I'm too tired to name. It's a very long list." She sighed.

"Oh." I said, finally standing up.

She sounded snooty, giving me an expression I couldn't read. She was about my height but still a tiny bit shorter. She smiled up at me, and I smiled back.

"Well, you should probably go see her." She said, stuffing her hands into her pockets.

"Oh, right." I said, pressing the button to make the elevator go.

The entire time going up was pretty awkward. She was pretty hot, though.

The elevator stopped at level 14 and opened its doors. I awkwardly walked out, and down the hall. I noticed Jess was following close behind.

"Uh. Are you going to see her too?" I asked.

"Yeah." She said as we kept walking.

I bumped into a nurse while trying to catch a glimpse in a room. The tray she was holding fell to the floor, tiny bottles of liquid shattered everywhere.

"Hey!" She shouted, hitting my shoulder.

"Ow!" I shouted back.

Instead of helping her clean up, I kept walking. I ended up running to Sara's room, leaving Jess to yell at me to stop. I ignored her and ran into Sara's room. The moment I saw her I knew something was wrong.
