"Who was it?" I asked Michael as he walked back.

"I don't know, but I think Sara is crying." He said casually.

"WHAT? WHY?!" I asked, running up the stairs.

I ran down the hall and to her door. I slowly opened it a bit and tried to listen. I heard crying.

"Sara?" I knocked on the door.

"Hmm?" She sniffed.

"Can I come in?" I asked, opening the door a little bit more.

"Um, sure." I heard shuffling.

I opened the door and walked in. She was laying in bed, tears going down her cheeks. She looked terrified.

"What's wrong?" I asked, afraid she might have heard.

"May was at the window." She said softly.

"What? When?" I asked, getting goosebumps.

"Before you knocked. She just left." She said.

"Was she inside here?" I asked, unconsciously holding her hand.

"No. She just mouthed words at me." She said, starting to cry again.

"What did she say?" I asked.

"T-Tick, t-tock, t-tick-k, tock-k. You're r-running out-t of t-time." She stuttered, gasping for air as she started violently shaking.

She started sobbing loudly, grabbing onto me. She held me tightly, like if she was holding onto the edge of a cliff. I hugged her and rubbed her back.

"Shhhh, it's okay. She's not going to hurt you I p-promise." I said uneasily, doubting my own words.

Sara held me tighter, hurting me a bit. I could feel her trembling in my arms like a chihuahua.

"Sara, you need to calm down." I told her. "You might get a bad flashback."

"S-She said I was r-running out-t of t-time." She stuttered, still sobbing. "W-What does she mean?"

"I don't know, but don't listen to her." I lied.

She nodded into my chest. I laid down to make it more comfortable for her. At some point, we ended up cuddling each other. She was so warm. It started to storm outside. Every time thunder boomed, she jerked up and started to panic. Once the storm finally ended, probably at 4 in the morning, she fell asleep.

I slid off her bed and pulled her blanket over her. I walked down the halls and to my room, which was cold since I left the window open. There was a letter on the windowsill. I opened the envelope with my fingernails and pulled the small paper out.

"What day is tomorrow?
             The first day of May.
      More like,
"Goodbye, Sara" day.
But I like to call it
                   "May Day"."
