Twenty years later...
"Seokie, what are you doing in samchon Jin's and samchon Joon's room?" Yoongi said gently to his eighteen-years-old son while standing at the door of Namjoon's and Jin's old bedroom.
Min Seokjin was staring longingly at the pretty designer clothes that once belonged to Jin, his father's old friend, and he'd jumped when he heard his appa's voice, before turning around and running into his arms with a whine.
"Appaaa, I don't have any clothes to wear to Jiwon's party!" Min Seokjin, or Seokie as everyone called him, said with a pout, looking up at his appa with puppy eyes. "I told papa and daddy and they said that I could wear samchon Jin's clothes since they're still as good as new and just perfect for the given dress code- vintage! They really must've cost a fortune... but all of them are so pretty- I can't choose!"
Seokie huffed cutely and stuffed his head in his appa's chest, Yoongi chuckling as he ruffled his black wavy hair. Min Seokjin was the son of Yoongi, Hoseok and Jimin by surrogacy, and all three of them had been married to each other for nineteen years now.
Seokie was named after his late samchon Jin, but he was a Min, for his biological father was Yoongi. The surrogate mother and also the contributor of the egg was Jin's cousin Soomi, who had lived most of her life out of Bangtan. It was Kim Soojin, Jin's mother, who suggested her when she learnt that Yoongi, Hoseok and Jimin were planning on having a child.
Since he carried some of the surrogate mother's genes, Seokie resembled much of the traits of his samchon Jin's maternal family. An angular face, deep almond eyes, a button nose and plump rose-red lips- Seokie reminded the men of their beloved hyung, much to their ecstasy.
Seokie had grown to be a lot like his fathers, though. He had Yoongi's complexion and strong personality, and Jimin's adorableness and extroverted attitude. Everyone also joked about how he was quite a scaredy cat like his papa, though. Neither Hoseok nor Seokie found it quite funny, though both of their offended looks proved how much alike they were.
"Do you want me to help, pumpkin?" Yoongi asked, once Seokie let go of him.
Seokie's expression brightened drastically and he smiled brightly at Yoongi, nodding enthusiastically. "Yes, appa! Please do!"
The man laughed fondly as he allowed his teenage son to pull him over to Namjoon's and Jin's wardrobe.
"What do you have in mind?" He asked, tapping his chin as he took a look at Jin's side of the wardrobe, stuffed with all the several designer clothes and pastel sweaters Namjoon had ever bought him.
"I dont have anything in mind..." Seokie shrugged. "But I want to stun Nammie."
"Hmm, I think you should wear something with light colors, then," Yoongi suggested, hands reaching out to look through the suitable clothes. "He thinks of you as an angel... just like Joon-ah used to think about Jin hyung."
Yoongi smiled softly, bringing out the white flowy shirt with silver glitters around the shoulders and chest, and handing it to his son. He remembered when he once found Jin's picture where he was wearing the same shirt, lying in bed with Koya and RJ and eating a strawberry cupcake, in Namjoon's wallpaper, and sighed softly as he watched Seokie skip to the bathroom to change into it and see how it looked on him.
Yoongi, now fifty-years-old, still couldn't believe sometimes that nearly twenty years had passed by since Jin's and Namjoon's deaths. He couldn't quite understand how life had went on without all seven of them there, yet here they were, growing older and having families of their own.
