Ten years ago...
"You have a what now?!"
Jungkook couldn't help but shout, springing up to his feet and slamming his hands on the table, staring at Jin with large eyes and mouth open.
Jin flinched as Jimin hissed, while Hoseok stared at the maknae with the others, his cheeks bulging as he chewed on his food. Little did they know that the rest of the people at the cafeteria was staring at Jungkook too.
That's when Namjoon made his entry, followed by a grumpy-looking Yoongi and a really happy Taehyung, all of them holding a tray of lunch in their hands.
"What's going on here?" The purple-haired asked, an eyebrow raised as he, his brother and his best friend joined the other four as usual.
Jimin reached out and pulled Jungkook to sit down again after exchanging shy hellos with Yoongi, as the Kim brothers, Namjoon and Taehyung, sat down respectively beside Jin and Jungkook. The whole cafeteria quickly went back to their business as all of the seven turned to give them dark looks.
"So, what happened?" Taehyung asked, once everyone resumed eating their lunch. "Why was Kookie yelling and everyone staring?"
"Because he was being a pabo," Jin scoffed, glaring sternly at the youngest.
"It's not my fault getting shocked hearing you say that you've got a secret admirer," Jungkook retorted.
"Why? I don't understand why you're surprised, JK. I'm Worldwide Handsome after all."
Everyone either rolled their eyes at this or coughed loudly, done with their hyung. Nobody noticed Yoongi and Namjoon sharing looks.
"So, what's with this secret admirer, hyung?" Yoongi asked, breaking the awkward moment, while Namjoon put on the most curious face he could muster.
Jin blushed as he looked down at his food, playing with his fingers. "It's just somebody who sent me a gift yesterday. I don't have a secret admirer. Jungkook's just exaggerating."
"Yeah, I believe you," Jimin said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. "What person sends you flowers and gifts and don't show you their face if they aren't your secret admirer?"
Jin sighed, massaging his head with his hands. "I just wanted to tell you about this because I don't know what to do in this situation."
"What happened, my prince?" Namjoon asked, softly placing a hand around the other's wide shoulders. "What's with this gift sender of yours?"
He didn't say 'secret admirer' since it might cause Jin to get fired up. He ignored the suspicious looks the maknae line was throwing at him.
"Shouldn't you be getting jealous right now?" Jimin inquired.
"Huh, why should I be jealous?" Namjoon asked innocently.
"There's another person trying to steal your man!" Jungkook said with exaggerated hand gestures.
"The Namjoon hyung I know would've hunted the person sending Jin hyung stuff down and made sure he never comes anywhere near fifty feet from him," Taehyung declared confidently.
Namjoon shook his head as if the trio was being stupid.
"That person can send my prince gifts all they want but I know that I'm the only one in his heart," he fired back, rather overconfidently.
