Jelena's POV
It's already midnight but I can't sleep. Dahil siguro napahaba yung tulog ko kanina kaya hindi ako makatulog ngayon.
Florence is already fast asleep in my arms; she looks so peaceful.
I didn't even dare to move.
She pushed herself more into me, I'm not complaining though. I love it when she's asleep in my arms. It's the closest I could be with her physically.
I brush her hair off her stunning face and I carress her cheeks. Her skin is so smooth.
"Why aren't you asleep yet?" She mumbled all of a sudden.
I didn't mean to wake her up.
"I can't sleep. But continue sleeping, mon chérie"
"Mhm, sleep love. Maaga pa tayo bukas" she said and kissed my cheeks. I went blank for a moment until I heard her calling my name.
"Ma'am Jelena!" She called. "What?" I asked a bit annoyed.
"Ay ikaw na pinapatulog ikaw pa naiinis. Kung iwan kaya kita dito?" She was about to stand up but I pulled her into me.
"No it's not like that my love, It's just you called me love then Ma'am Jelena nanaman" I said and I notice she's trying not to laugh.
"Don't laugh!" I pouted. "Don't do that, mukha kang pato" I furrowed my eyebrows at her. I turned my back and cuddled into the pillow.
"Come on. Sorry na love love. I promise you look like a pato but a cute one" she said.
Siniksik naman niya yung ulo niya sa leeg ko habang nakayakap sakin. Ay kilig kilig nanaman si heart. Hindi ko siya nilingon dahil alam kong namumula nanaman ako at hindi ko mapipigilan ang ngiti ko.
"Love love sorry na nga eh!" She said at hinigpitan pa ang yakap saakin. But I didn't bother to utter a word.
"Love love naman eh! Sigi iiwan kita dito!" Scared that she will leave me ay humarap ako sakaniya at niyakap siya ng mahigpit.
"Don't you ever dare leave me Florence Dela Mercano!" Matigas kong sambit at mas hinigpitan pa ang yakap ko sakaniya.
"Ok" mahina niyang sagot.
"Sleep baby" I utter. "Ikaw din sleep kana.... love love" I smiled like crazy when she called me with the pet name.
"Matulog kana Jelena!" Sambit niya na ikinatigil ko sa pag ngiti.
Parang tanga naman papakiligin ako tapos magagalit pag ngumiti ako.
Normal pa ba yon?
Inalis ko na saaking isipan yung mga pontio pilatong nasa isip ko at niyakap ng mas mahigpit yung bebe ko.
Aba para di siya makawala habang tulog ako.
Pinikit ko na yung mata ko at salamat naman dahil nakatulog din ako ng mabilis.
Sino ba naman di makakatulog ng mabilis eh katabi mo yung taong minamahal mo.
Ay minamahal?
Oo mahal ko na siya...
