Briar opens the door and looks at me with a shocked expression. I understand why, I literally just showed up at her place. I may or may not have been standing outside her door, looking at the number 13 on it for a moment.

Ok, it's been 5 minutes.

I was trying to think of what to say and how to say it. But whatever I was thinking about is completely out the window now that she is standing in front of me.

She is looking so good. My eyes can't help but check her out. Her hair is up in a messy bun, that honestly looks perfect on her. She changed her clothes. She is wearing an oversized Laguna Beach Football hoodie. I forgot that Quinn Matthews and I played football together and Briar cheered. She is also wearing barely-there shorts I think they are spankers, showing off her beautiful legs.

We just look at each other for a moment and right when she is about to say something, I kiss her. I stepped forward, grabbed both sides of her neck, and crash my lips into hers. At first, she doesn't kiss me back, I'm guessing she is a little shocked. But after a second she starts to relax and kisses me back.

Oh, my.

Fuck!

I'm kissing Briar Kensington!!!!!!!!!

This is absolutely amazing. She places her hands on my chest and moves them to wrap around my neck. I put one of my hands on her lower back. I slam our bodies together to get rid of the gap. I needed to be closer. The impact makes me groan and Briar takes the opportunity to slip her tongue in my mouth.

We are kissing each other like we are making up for the last 10 years. We are kissing each other as if we stop, this moment was just a dream.

Briar leans into me more and I can tell she is not wearing a bra by the way her boobs are pressed against me. That thought makes my dick twitch.

Oh, thank god it's not broken!

Ok, I don't want her to think that I came here just to have sex. While I know it would be phenomenal to have sex with Briar, now is not the right time. I will wait until it's the right time before we do.

Reluctantly, I pull away a little and rest my forehead against hers. We are both breathing heavily with our breaths mingling. After a few moments of catching my breath, I finally ask her. 'Why did you never tell me?'.

She takes a step back and I stand up straight with my hands by my side. Her gorgeous gray eyes are looking at me with so many questions and so many emotions.

'What?' She says barely over a whisper.

'Why did you never tell me that you were interested in me? I just wasted the last 10 years not being with you.'

Not gonna lie, the disbelief on her face squeezes my heart a little bit. I have a feeling all my emotions are about to be put through the wringer. It's going to be one of those get 'it gets worse before it gets better' kinda situations, isn't it? I've never experienced anything like this before.

After a moment, Briar finally says. 'Do you want to come in so we can talk?'.

Oh yeah, we are still in the doorway.

'Please.' That is all I say.

She reaches out and grabs my hand to pull me inside so she can close the door. To my surprise, she doesn't let go and starts guiding me through the living room. We enter the hall and go through a door that appears to be her bedroom.

When we are inside, she lets go and closes the door. I take a couple more steps in and start looking around. It's extremely clean and modern. She has bookshelves full of books and a wall full of windows with a nice view.
