It's Always Been Briar

Chapter 10.

I just got settled into my bed. It's around 12:30 am. I left Briar's apartment a little bit ago. Her place is really, really close. It's like a 5-minute walk, a 0-minute drive to my place.

When I got home, there was no sign of Lenny. I'm not sure where she went but I'll text her really quick to make sure she is ok. I'm kinda glad to have some alone time after what happened with Briar.

Fuck, my body is still buzzing. And my head is spinning. I swear I can still feel her hands all over me. I feel amazing! I just can't believe it.

She wants me, I want her. Someone pinch me. WAIT, don't cause if this is a dream I hope to never, ever wake up.

We talked a little bit more after I told Briar I wanted her. Basically, we decided to just start spending more time with each other and see where it leads us. We don't want to rush anything but we both don't want to miss any more time with one another. So I asked her out for a date on Friday night, at 9:30pm.

The main takeaway from our conversation, which I think she is surprised I agreed with, is that we are exclusively seeing each other. She doesn't need to worry about me with anyone else because even though she doesn't know it, I committed to her the moment I asked Lenny for her address.

I don't want/need anyone else.

She kept asking me if I was ok with being exclusive, even though we agreed it was too soon to label anything. Yes, I'm more than ok with being exclusively with Briar. She also kept defining that exclusive meant only being with each other.

As I said before, she doesn't have to worry about it but I sadly understand why she is so nervous and worried.

This ultimately is a huge test.

Which brings me to what I'm doing right now. Laying in my bed, naked of course, after I took a quick shower when I got home.
